A fun night with the girls

So this past Friday night Lesley had a Stampin Up Party at her house. Irene Hirtle came up from Bridgewater and made 3 different cards with us, showed us how to use some fun things and also showed us some of the awesome workshops she does at her place in Bridgewater. We had some great laughs and some yummy eats......just looking at the pictures makes my stomach grumble. Thanks for an awesome time Lesley!!! I can't wait till my stamps arrive as I'm hoping to make some Christmas Cards this year!!!

Not much more has gone on since then. My Jimmie Johnson won the race yesterday.....it was awesome!!! Came down to the last 300 yards and Carl Edwards trying a video game move. It was a nail biter but an awesome ending!!! I'm up to my neck in the laundry today, getting things in order for my getaway this weekend. I'm making lists, getting coupons and trying to not worry about how the kids will be while I am gone. I know Jeff will be fine......but I'm a mom and I just worry......back to work I go.....One Tree Hill night tonight so I want to be ready to head out a little early for some errands!!!! Just cannot hide......

So I am just about 14 weeks prego.....heading into the second trimester dreading the HUGE belly growth that is bound to erupt:) Anyhow, last night at our OTH night Karen took a shot of the belly......I must say it comes alot faster the 5th time around. I was back into my old size, had bought awesome new pants at Tommy Hilfiger only to have tucked them away now weeks ago. I will have some incentive after baby to lose weight as they are super comfy and like new. I am off to the States in 10 days......anxious for a getaway and to hit the outlets. They have a Motherhood Maternity Outlet that we will be hitting and I've also found a GAP Maternity where we will be staying. I had some of the best maternity stuff from GAP when I had Sarah so I'm hoping to find some more. The planning of the shopping has begun and it will be fun!!!! If anyone can recommend must try things in the States let me know........don't want to miss out on something awesome!!! I'm off to the mountains of laundry that always seem to be here......I wish there was a trick to getting it done and not having it grow for a few days:)

Okay......so I'm not quite done.....Karen has a fun feature on her new computer called "Photo Booth". It is a riot!!! Last night after OTH we took some group shots. I thought Lesley was going to pee her pants for sure. It was comical!!! Karen sent them to me so here's your laugh for today....she took some great ones of the kids the other night when her and Brandon watched them so I will have to post those later!!! Enjoy!!

A fantastic visit.....

So today was the day that I had been waiting for with great anticipation......my first baby checkup with my new doctor. I had heard many awesome things.....one being that she induces so you don't have huge babies......I was afraid to get my hopes up......not anymore. We had a great checkup and the shock factor was priceless as we went over previous births and the sizes of my babies. She drew a few exclamation marks after Jacob's information went down. We discussed my last 2 inductions and my concerns going into this pregnancy and she told me not to worry that I would not be making it until my due date and we would follow baby's size and fluid levels closely. Yahoo!!!! My fears of a 12 lb baby have left......I go back in another 4 weeks to see her. I also got to hear baby's heartbeat which was awesome. I never got to hear my other kids until I had my first ultrasound so it was a nice treat to hear and to know that everything sounds good!!

Hopefully the time will pass quickly.....I'm looking forward to my weekend getaway in 2 weeks and then we are into Halloween mode. Jake wants to be a vampire so we are going to try to make him a cape. I have aspirations of great sewing projects on my sewing machine but just don't have the time to learn it all yet. Hopefully I can find an easy cape pattern or I'll have to get Jeff to make it......he's good at that stuff!!! So we have some fun, busy times ahead and I'm excited for it all. Getting my energy back slowly but surely.......it's been hard babysitting but I enjoy it ( most of the time) and the extra pocket money helps. Hopefully over time Georgia will like having a friend here......she's still not so sure about it. We are off to run the roads tomorrow for diapers and groceries.......fun times........I commend Christina for doing it on a bike, especially when so far along in your pregnancy.....I'm a wimp and will be taking my car. You are my hero!!


One last congrats out to JJ & Sheldon on the birth of their baby girl.....born today....7lbs 7oz.....Mila Jean. Glad that the waiting is over for JJ and hope everyone is doing well. Can't wait to see some pictures of her......I'm sure she's a cutie pie!!! Until next time........enjoy life and have fun...................

Birthdays are over for a while.......

I really love celebrating my kids birthdays and I really love trying to make the day special, I just find it tiring some days. So in September I look forward to the little break I get until March when birthdays begin again. I don't know what I was thinking when we decided to have a baby at the end of March......I'll be celebrating 2 birthdays close in March and then of course Jessica and Georgia are 5 days apart in May......I don't know how my mother stayed sain having 4 birthdays within 10 days.....and didn't go broke too.....lol!!! So on Monday we had family over for cake and ice-cream and we rounded out the week with a few of Sarah's friends from school coming over. We took the kids bowling, had some pizza and chips, cupcakes and presents. It was a fun time, and Sarah seemed to really enjoy it. I now am still digging out from the mess of the party and wishing that a cleaning fairy would come in at night while I sleep and take care of it all for me. I'm off to load the dishwasher......atleast they wash themselves.....and get the 4 kids ready for church.....it could be an interesting one today as everyone decided to get up a little too early......hopefully that means afternoon naps for them all:) Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!!!

Super September.......

It has been a SUPER SEPTEMBER.....why you ask???? SCHOOL is back in......I really hate having to get up early and get everyone else up too but it is nice having the big girls gone during the days and they are loving being back in school. They both seem really happy with the teachers they have this year and I think are just glad to be back with all of their friends. I am liking the routine of my days and I think I am slowly getting some energy back. I am babysitting a little girl 4 days a week, she is 4 months older then Georgia. Georgia is having some adjustments with having someone the same size as her around but it is getting better.....probably just to have the weekend come and have to start back at square one next week. It is fun though and I'm enjoying the extra money that comes with it.


All ready to head off to school.......how big they are getting!!


So I guess I should mention more about my last post. The picture that I posted did indeed announce that we are having another baby. It is a copy of the e-mail that we sent to our parents the day we left camping. It was Jeff's idea and a fun one at that. I think it killed my Mom not to say anything that whole week. Laura did have a funny reaction when we told her the following week. She really thought I was playing some mean joke on her. So anyways, to answer any questions people have, that they might be wondering, or talking about, we did plan on baby #5....we know how they are made......we know how to prevent surprises......and quite honestly I'm not a believer in accidents. Anyhow, we figured that if we were going to have one more that we wanted Georgia and baby to be close in age. They will be 22 months apart......not too bad!! I am due the 25th of March......Jacob could get a birthday baby as I have a history of going late, but I have a new doctor that I was referred to because of my history and for this we are crossing our fingers of not going over. My concern is a huge baby........of course.....I don't know how to make anything else......a boy could easily hit 12 lbs this time and a girl 11lbs......but I won't be finding out unless it is for free and just keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't get too big. I am not about to spend money to find out when in the end it's not really going to matter. Would we like a boy?? Sure....why not.....Jacob is sadly outnumbered already but if we have a girl we will be just as happy......healthy is all that matters to us. It will be fun as this pregnancy progresses to see if I can make a good guess at what I am having. Time will tell and it always makes labour a little more fun when you get a surprise in the end!!! I know alot of people think we are nuts but am always glad to know that some people think it's fantastic. Five kids aren't for everyone.......even one is enough for some but for us we think five will be alot of fun!!!! Nothing better then having a bunch of siblings to grow up with!!!!


So back to September........it is a birthday month in our house.....Sarah is lucky and isn't close to any of the other kids birthdays. We had family and friends over on Monday for cake and ice-cream. It was a fun night for her, she got lots of nice gifts and we have been singing alot of "High School Musical Sing It" ever since.....her friend party is on Saturday and she has a few friends from school coming. I will be glad when it is all over.......it is alot of planning to get to the party but it will mean alot to her!!

I don't think that we have much more happening in September....we are hoping to maybe make it up to the zoo as we didn't get up this summer. I am going on a little road trip the first weekend in October with my friend Tanya. We are going to Maine for the weekend, just the two of us for a little girl time. I'm hoping to get my holiday shopping done. Not too many know we are going because I have a limited amount of money I can spend in a weekend and for that I can't shop for others like I did this summer. Someday we will have all the fun stuff they have down there.......maybe........or atleast a Bath and Body Works. I'm excited to go to the outlets and get some great deals. I got jeans in the summer for $2.99 for Georgia so I'm hoping to find some more smoking deals like that. We have a list of all the fun places we want to go and all the restaurants we are going to eat at.....can't wait for the Olive Garden and Cold Stone Creamery.......yummy stuff!!! Hope September is a good month for everyone else......love that fall weather that is starting to come....it is my favorite season of the year!!!!! Never forgotten.....sometimes just overlooked....

I'm not being neglectful on purpose and really would love to write a huge post but it's just not going to happen tonight.....things need to be done...blogging just doesn't make the cut tonight....life has been busy though....more then you can imagine....we have had weddings, birthdays, soccer tournaments, appointments, school shopping, school starting, piano lessons beginning and now we ( I mean Jeff) is painting Jacob and Georgia's room "Alien Green" before the bunk beds arrive. So the upstairs is beyond a disaster and I dread trying to put anything back together. On top of it Sarah is turning 6 next week so we are into more birthday party things......family and friends and I'm babysitting 4 days a week....a little girl 4 months older then Georgia. She is a sweetie but by the time I am done putting my kids to bed at night I am beyond ready to hit the sheets myself. I need a few more hours in the day for sleep......I could use them right now. I love that life is full......love that life is busy.....love that the kids are back in school....love a little extra money in the pocket at the end of a week....love that Jessica is beyond over the moon with learning piano, she can't practice enough.....looking forward to celebrating with Sarah next week....looking forward to many things in the months to come.....life is good.....I will be back.....I promise.....maybe even tomorrow but just not tonight.....miss blogging but birthday invitations need to be done before school tomorrow and I just have to make them......can't bring myself to buy!!!! Ugh!!!!! Love all the updates.......I will come back with one soon......
