Maya is playing kickball this year. She is clueless about the game but it's a lot of fun to watch her. And...sometimes you even get passed by your own teammate when you're on third.

We (I) had planned to take the family to the Ogden temple open house.  Things didn't go as planned that day and we didn't make it.  Instead, I took the girls to the Logan temple and took some pictures.

We are building a new house!  This project has been in the works for a long time and we chose to keep it a secret until "Dig Day" because of how frustrating the process has been.  We began this adventure in February 2013 when we found the "lot of our dreams".  This piece of land was perfect.  Perfect location (in Providence), perfect size (0.96 acre), perfect orientation (house will face west).   The development process was long and difficult.  Providence City is not easy to work with.  Their requirements are extensive and often times ridiculous and unnecessary.  We've jumped through all kinds of hoops to get to where we are. We are building with Mt. Sterling Custom Homes.  They have a great reputation for designing and building high quality homes.  I had found a house plan that I really liked, had done some tweaking myself, then took it in to Mt.
