Wasatch Back 2009

This year my mom ran in the Wasatch Back. It's a relay race that starts in Logan and ends in Park City. It takes two days to run. I went with my dad and followed my mom while she ran. It was fun.

Some team had a gorilla dressed up to cheer on it's runner. I was laughing because he was hiding behind a tree and ready to scare the runner. My mom was running right next to the guy he was trying to scare!

HAHAHA!! It worked! Not only did he scare the guy... he also scared my mom!! It was funny!

My Aunt Kimmi and my Uncle Josh ran too. They were on a different team. We got to see them at the exchanges.

It was getting dark and so I thought I would run a mile or so with her.

I think I should have had some glow in the dark stuff on!

Summer Boredom

This past week all of my friends have been out of town. I'm not even kidding! So I have had to find things to do to keep me from getting bored. One thing I like is playing in the water. Here I am entertaining Bentley and Jaxon.

Jones Family Camp Out

This year for the Jones camp out we went to Rockport. It was so fun, even though the boat broke! I played in the water a little and hung out in the Minnie Winnie. Although on Friday of this camping trip, my mom and I drove down to Dr. J's and I got my braces on. Not so fun for the first couple of days!! But I like them now!

Easter 2009

This year at Grandma's for the big Easter egg hunt, Jaden got to participate with the adults.  He really enjoyed this since he got all money in his eggs!

During the egg fight he got Grandma really good! A couple of times!!!

Spooky Halloween

Jaden was a BHS Cheerleader this year.  He had an absolute blast with his costume.  He also learned that he is pretty good at bobbing for apples.  I think it's because he isn't afraid to dunk his head!  It took a couple of tries but he finally got an apple.  He didn't even cheat!!!  He also carved his own pumpkin.  He has a touching thing, so at first he would wash his hands after each time he touched the pumpkin guts. Funny Jaden! His pumpkin turned out great, he said it was a character from Warcraft, but I thought it looked like Mike from Mosters Inc.

Are you kidding me?

Jaden had a lovely visit with Dr. J (the orthodontist) a couple of weeks ago.  Dr. J recommended that Jaden have all the rest of his baby teeth pulled, since he is almost 14 years old.  Doesn't sound too bad except there were 8 baby teeth!  Are you kidding?  How will he eat? (Funny how that is always the moms concern!)  5 teeth on one side and 3 on the other.  So today we visited Uncle Mike (the dentist) who was kind enough to sedate Jaden (the worrier) so he could pull the teeth out.  Jaden did great and doesn't remember a thing, which means  Uncle Mike did a great job!  Some of the teeth came out in more than one piece so of course Jaden says that's awesome because it's more money from the tooth fairy.  Huh?  Apparently the tooth fairy is now paying by the piece! 

GO UTES!

Today was solid color day at school.  Of course Jaden couldn't just wear all one color, he had to throw in a little twist!  As usual he was a huge hit!  The timing was great, just in time for the U game this weekend.

Corn Crunching Contest

There is never a dull moment at our house... the other night at dinner Jaden and his buddy Alex decided to "spice things up" by having a corn eating contest.  The Rule: Whoever eats every kernel gone and swallows first WINS!  Here are a few shots from the excitement.

Lake Powell Mania!!!!

Jaden's favorite vacation spot is Lake Powell. That is if it could be a little cooler and a little less windy! He kept wishing it would cool down to 50 degrees and the night the wind picked up... well it wasn't his best night of sleep ever! He did love the water and he was an amazing wake boarder. His buddy Abbey was the best tubing partner. They totally won the tube war! They also got to make awards for each person on the trip. He can't wait for next year!

Catching Up With Jaden Rasch

Jaden has had a busy year. He has loved 7th grade. He has spent a lot of time hanging out with his buddy Alex. They have done some hysterical Spanish projects together this year. He has also spent some time with his cousins and his family. We love going to the zoo. Jaden loves to see if the alligator has moved since the last time we were there! He also still loves playing with his Nintendo DS and his Playstation. He has also turned in to a "You Tube" junkie. He's always finding funny stuff to watch. He is really excited for summer. Only 6 more weeks of school Jaden!

7th Grade Halloween

As you can see, Jaden was the hit of the party! His funny personality came out this Halloween. He and his frriends dressed up as girls this year. Jaden was a Fashion Polly, and his friends consisted of two Hannah Montanna's, Barbie, and two Wendy's from the Wendy's commericals.

First Day Of School

Jaden is pretty excited for school this year. He is in 7th grade and thinks that he rules the school! He did look "HOT" on the first day! Hey chics...here I come!

Getting Out of the Wake...

Jaden loves wakeboarding! This year he tried getting out of the wake. Check out the play by play pictures we took. We don't need to tell the story because his face tells it all!

Oh, What Do you Do When You're Killing Time...

when you are in Las Vegas? Do you check out exotic cars, dance on the big piano at FAO Schwartz, ride anything around the store that has wheels, play all the video games (including air hockey), see the lastest Harry Potter movie, have your picture taken in front of half naked statues, play in the swimming pool and eat at the Cheesecake Factory (twice). Is that what you do? So do I!
