2009 : Through My Window.

zzz..

This year is the major turning point in my life.

Don't you think it's a bit funny for a person to have wasted 6 months and thrown in RM10k ++ into A Levels and in the end gave up to join the FREE public pre U studies?

You have just met one. Me.

I have met a lot of friends while in A Levels. Spent quality time with them in class, laughing our butts off, celebrating birthdays and searching for cheap lunches. Not to mention I even started to pick up some my native language - Fu Chow. (yes, I can't speak Fu Chow, pardon me)

Until, I found out I'm facing peer pressure and sucky results.

And so, I'm back to the days of wearing uniform. But, it's not so bad anyways, putting aside the difficulty of the curriculum.

I finally found something to fill this handmade reused-digital-clock photoframe.

Seeing back, this year I have done so much 'First times'. Which suddenly reminds me of the Mandarin essay writing competition in Primary school, 'My first time.'

First time in college period,

--meeting Sarawakians and Sabahans
(The 14 Ee Fang, Shi Yin and Kah Hie and also Man Yang)
--speaking my native language
(Kong ngong miang?)
--grabbed a bouken
(In the end gave up kenjutsu due to unworthy fees)
--dance
(Fui.)
--working hard to teach japanese
(For J101. But still I feel the keh-le-feh-ness.)
--celebrating birthdays
(With PM5.)
--lost a handphone
(Oh my Motorola baby. But I got a Sony Ericsson in the end. Thanks, pappy.=P)
--racing to book a place for field trips
(Thanks a lot, Mr Kok)

First time in public school period(Public Pre U -Form 6),

--opening a club and be a president.
(Dance Club weh.. but just for the sake of not going to Taylors for classes.)
--realising extreme kiasi-ness
(I'm OK with kiasu, but kiasi is 0.0 maybe because I am being ignorant.)
--drawing too much
(Enough. Stop stop!)
--wore a wig?!
(tried on Wee's when I went back to college for dance classes.)
--working hard on events
(Carnival Day was a real chaos in my life. I can't concentrate in studies.)
--had to admit there is no such thing as the MAJOR INSOMNIA FACTOR
(you know who I meant here.)
--writing babi long reports
(Leader for R & D group and also Dance Club president. What you expect when secretaries are on leave?)
--finding maths is interesting
(Though I'm still having hiccups, I have the heart to work on it)
--attending first ACG (Anime Comic Games) event
(Ahoy TAF! =D)

--attended outings
(Wouldn't have done most of it without Jun. Haha. Thanks bro.)

--first small small reunion outing
(Me, Yvonne and Jonathan with Kevin and Tsung Wai. =D)
--hands on experiment??!
(Ah yeah. Bio was. Whoa.)
--dance performance
(*pulls hair* But I did it in the end.)

--attended Comic Fiesta!!! Some more with friends who are and are not cosplayers.
(It was a bomb man. Maybe I was just a rusa masuk dalam kampung.)
-- spend soooo much on computer stuff ie. mouse, printer, storage devices, iPod accesories...
(Ok mum. I need to control.)
--realising how great (and addictive) dramas could be.
(Ah... Korean version of Boys Over Flowers and Hong Kong's Dicey Business.)
--soo many people wishing me birthday and gifts.
(T.T thanks a lot. I thought I'm seriously a small germ.)
--alas won something
(My iPod... My partner Keng Wei... T.T)

... (and many more)

In the end, I got to know, I have changed a lot. I used to be an ultra conservative nerd, and now an outgoing simpleton. Yeah, simpleton, I'm using that word.

I didn't regret. I just need to work hard more on my studies, brushing up on my SICK looking results. I felt like puking.

I have experienced the worst unproductive year in my whole life. I'm putting a stop to it.

I'm horrible, terrible, vegetable.

*knocks head onto wall, until head bleeds*

I like this year. I met lots of wonderful people, both from college, TAS and school. And saw through quite a lot of people too.

I finally got to know that if you go along with a person long enough, you shall know all the true colours. Saw through that in some college and school mates. And the truth is always pain.

But TAS is the one which actually 'berat sama dipikul, ringan sama dijinjing'. Believe me.

And thanks to Ace Edventure, especially to Teacher Kim, you have made me into a fine person.

Wouldn't be what I am today without you.

I like this year. And not like this year.

I will and will not miss 2009.

Yume Cafe.

Sweet Dreams.

I don't know if I should post this up here but, still, I already started writing this blog before I even hesitated.=P

I was having a nap when I had this weird weird dream. *haha, wee..*

I was on a tour in a convertible Merc, with a bunch of korean girls and a guy, who looks like Bard from Kuroshitsuji.

We reached a small side pathway between two shops, which the whole place kinda reminds me of Italy. The car stopped there.

Then, I got down the car, and saw a whole bunch of Japanese hot bishies.

And, they are the whole set from Ouran High School Host Club. Including Haruhi.

I remember they are actually exchange students from Japan. They were cosplaying and earning bucks from the photos they are taking with many fangirls. Duh.

I don't remember what happened in the middle. But it seems that the Bard guy got an important mail which needed to be sent off on our way to the airport later of the day.

Before leaving, it seems that the exchange students were leaving too. I managed to get their contacts. It's like small pieces of papers, with names and details on it. And their name in Kanji, all different handwritings. And the cute Haruhi helping me to jot down their details.=)

I was rushing back to the convertible Merc to get my camera, for a free shot with the Ouran set, while all the fan girls crowded around another Merc which fetches them off. While I was scrambling through my stuffs in my bag in the Merc, I realised that my seat was actually between a korean girl and Ciel? CIEL. OMG.

He was staring at me, while I begged him to wait for me for a while. We were on the rush, to the airport? Yeah.

Bard jumped into the front seat of the convertible and OMG, the driver seat (which is on the left, instead of the right) was occupied by nobody except Sebastian. FUI!

I ran off to the scene where the Ouran's Merc should be, and err, I saw the car sped off. With a bunch of fangirls still following it, which kinda reminds me of paparazzi chasing after superstars. And the contacts papers were left aside, nicely stacked near a bush.

I grabbed the contacts and ran back to the convertible Merc I'm supposed to ride in now. But then I saw them sped off. Already. =.=

I was so stranded. I left my bag in the car, with my handphone in it. But I forgotten I actually lent it off to Ran Mao while she went off to change her clothes.

Walking around in despair, suddenly Ran Mao came out from no where, holding my phone by its strap and also walking around in confusion. I was so sesat, that I forgotten her name, and actually had no more choice but to yell 'Oi! Neko!'. And she looked at me.

And when I turned around, the convertible Merc was already reversing itself to the spot where I was standing at.

It came back. =)

Gutter Belt.

Bubbly life doesn't last long, but long enough for you to stay happy for long.

I love technologies. Though I'm not much of a tech savvy.

Went to SS14's Digital Mall, where it was once a building for Metrojaya.

It's a bit weird though, it seems that there are more stalls selling handphones than computer stuffs.

=.=

The place was quite packed with the crowd and also the handphone stalls, selling handphones.

Went along to do some brief survey on Printers and also the accessories for my iPod Touch.

Alas, I only got a wall charger for iPod (rm129) and a printer (rm195).

Reminds me of the bases in baseball field.

Like a normal a plug for your electronics.

My third printer. Biggest of all three.

Seems that my laptop is the only computer thing which is black.

But the saddest thing is that my faithful first love, I mean my first printer, got to leave me. We bought it around 5-6 years ago... TT.TT Mummy say we got to make space for new things to come in, and got to throw off my printer. TT.TT No....

It was spoilt anyway, so it was on my pa's desk for quite some time already, sucking up dusts from the atmosphere.

It could have been fixed, around 2 years ago, but then, after thinking, we decided not to since it does not worth the cost. It might be more expensive to fix it than to buy another better one.

I miss the model number I had to remember for the sake of buying cartridges.

Then it just sat there for the 2 years, until today.

It's gonna end in the charity collection centre tomorrow morning. TT.TT

My love. TT.TT

And I finally learnt why manufacturers tend to put an unreasonable amount of plastics for packaging, including the huge box. It's so that you can reuse the plastic bags and boxes to contain your old junk and to be thrown off. This is too as a way for them to thank you for purchasing their product. By giving extra packaging.

And I have this habit, which is to repackage my old and unwanted thing, just the same way how they packaged it when I opened the box of my new thing. Perfectionist.

=)

I still need a tablet and extra RAM. Maybe later. And a cover for my iPod.

Just some random stuff to be removed from my desktop.

Santa doesn't come to Malaysia.

Merry Christmas!

Did a lot during Christmas's week. =)

I got to remove my black nail polish earlier than expected. I was planning to remove it after Christmas or before New Year, but I like cooking more than my nails.

And I won't touch any food with my hands if my nails are long and coloured.

Removed the colour and had to trim it off. *sighs*

Long and disgusting.

Of equal length.

Fugly short.

But the pasta me and my sis did was nice... Potato and onion added. *yum*

Ordered McD through phone today. =.= Click to read.

I am still waiting for Santa, with my spade.

From 'Ok' to 'OYes'

Suddenly I realised that I didn't blog much about my Form 6 life.

The syllabus is wider. And the books are thicker.

Of course it's harder. As to be compared to A Levels.

Proof?

Allow me to take Chemistry as an example.

I didn't grasp the Hess Law well. Simply to say, I don't understand.

Then when I gone for Form 6 and studied Thermochemistry, A Level's Hess Law exercises was way easier than Form 6's. D=

Then Maths. Brought my text for Shu Yih (who is currently a PE in Taylors, further maths) to take a look, there were some chapters in Form 6 related to Further Maths. I was like D= again.

Teachers?

Well you paid Taylors to provide you good teachers, giving you the type of education worth your payment.

Form 6, is different.

Luck Good = Good Teachers

As simple as that.

Luckily my class has got good luck. Pray not to change our teachers next year.

Classes time?

Almost similar. Only that we got to go home around an hour earlier. Fridays around 1.

No big deal.

Talked to Ju Ee last night. We both agreed that college is tiring.

Maybe because of the air cond?

Now. Let me introduce my teachers.

Pengajian Am (PA) - Pn Viani Aba
  • Very good teacher.
  • Open minded.
  • Happy go lucky.
  • Pro in sejarah and long time no teach PA until our ex PA teacher got to leave Form 6 due to introduction of Research & Development programme which is of pointless staying back late.
  • A bit amateur in PA now.
*sighs*

Biology (Bio) - Pn Daisy Tan
  • Ah right. This teacher. She hates me. And I hate her.
  • Very extremely particular over class's cleanliness before she starts her class. And most in our class no love for her picky attitude.
  • But she's absolutely pro in Bio.

We like her teachings, but not when she starts cursing you early in the morning. *sighs*

Chemistry (Chem) - Pn Poh Bee Lee
  • My Dance Club teacher advisor.
  • When a perfectionist like me meets a perfectionist like her = hatred.
  • Somehow blames my club for removing her from her old club. =0 *teacher you could have rejected my offer*
  • Blur cased in most stuffs, except chemistry.
  • Sometimes, she just doesn't get what we are trying to ask. And gives us a different answer.
  • Very good in explanation, but oftenly in monotone. (sleep drug)
*sighs*

Mathematics (Maths) - Ms Goh Poh Chiok
  • PhD in Maths. Lucky us!
  • She rocks.
  • Soft spoken.
  • Likes to belanja us, ie. exercise papers and food
  • Patient and somehow a bit scary when she stares at you with her deep eyes.
  • Hardworking.
  • Weird habit of prefering to take the trouble to type her answers in a nice paper instead of handwriting it. =0
MUET - Pn Phung Kooi Choo
  • Boredom.
  • Ok ok la.
  • A bit long winded and grumbles a lot.
  • Lecture more than teach sometimes.
  • Hates us for ignoring her.
*sighs*

Research and Development Programme (R &D) - Mr (forgotten his name)
  • Perverted
  • Flirty
  • Hamsap
  • Politic Huge Critic
  • Acts like a useless old jerk.
  • In his head full of more than 10 years of PA knowledge, which I think is why he still remains in this school.
Kerja Amal - Pn Tee
  • Not bad.
  • No planning minded.
  • Didn't really talk much with her, but I think she's ok.
p/s : R & D programme and Kerja Amal are of useless things that MOE wants us the form 6 do. Most of the time, we just go wash Youtube or listen to songs or do maths homework.

So this are some of the jokes I managed to jot down and found out.

Ms Goh : This question worth 10 marks
Me : Why so expensive?!
Ms Goh : Petrol price gone up.

One fine day, our class were so silent doing our homework and then someone screamed from outside.
Some people like to scream in Seafield
Me : Melissa, what have you done?!
Melissa : Owh, I think I just pushed her down the stairs.

Me and Ker Fang were commenting on one of our classmate's picture.
Ker Fang : She looked just like a bag of plastic.

Bio class in the afternoon, Pn Daisy entered.
Ivy : Good morning, Pn Daisy.
Class : Good afternoon, Pn Daisy.
Pn Daisy : Good morning, Good Afternoon and Good Night, class.

Bio class. Someone asked.
Someone : Teacher, how can you tell they are different?
Pn Daisy : They look different.

Maths, Ms Goh going to introduce new chapter.
Ms Goh : Now, this is going to be interesting.
Me : Always say interesting, but in the end not also.
Ms Goh : Teachers are like salesman, otherwise how can we buy you?

Form 6, in my opinion, ain't that bad. I like the place, because there is no freezing air cond. So if the day's hot, the class is an oven ; if the day's cold, then the class has got natural air cond. We got a new building all to ourselves, and so, there are not much disturbance from the lower forms.

Books are limited, as to compared to the wide range in A levels for different chapters. But, ironically, even the MOE suggested books from A Levels for our further references. Whoa. But as the seniors and teachers said, if we stick to our own recomended text books published by Longman, it's good enough. And practice makes perfect.

We do not have the sciences practical paper for our STPM. We have our experiments done throughout our year and the marks would be accumulated and be sent to the MOE to be add into out STPM marks later.

Lab experiment sucks. Chemistry especially, our teacher just dumped us the apparatuses and let us figure out how to use one. =.= Luckily I was in Taylors before, and under my ex chemistry teacher Mr Kok's wonderful explanation and drawings on how to operate an apparatus, somehow I fend myself in the state of confusion and misery in the lousy lab, and survived. At least the way I got my results are way more accurate though.

But there is surely not much time for us to complete an experiment. Not to say, we even got to even look up in the internet for the discussion questions' answer, which is an ultimate feat for us. We even got to finish writing the report before the period ends.

R&D and kerja amal. Plain survey conducting and small kecil gila event organising activities which leaves us to rot. We would just take our own sweet time to finish up our maths questions instead of writing the babi report.

Club activities arr. This year they only give us an option, which is to join only one club. I think the dance club which I have opened is the most active among the form sixes clubs? I'm the one stressing on reports and the members are joyfully enjoying their life. We all had to attend kokurikulum or otherwise, no points. Meh.

Being a president for the first time in my life, is the best part ever. I learnt how the presidents felt when the members ain't coperating, and how they felt when members are trying hard to help out. Thanks, my members and friends.

A lot of events, in the Seafield. Like the Carnival Day we all had to organise and sponsor. And then the Majlis Perpishan Tingkatan 5 & 6, lower sixes had to work their asses into it. Luckily I became the president of the dance club, or otherwise I am a goner to be working under the committee member of the MPT.

The only thing I like is Maths. Ms Goh made me fell in love with maths again, after the boredom I suffered in A Levels. Next year going to be learning on A Levels stats paper things, which I still kinda remember. Yahoo!

Friends? Ok ok la. At least I still have my old classmates with me in the same class. New friends I've made this year in Seafield are cool, from different schools. Though there are one or two who are quite quiet in class, but just to say one thing, I think I'm the one cracks most jokes in class. More like I'm the one most outspoken =.= And it's a bit embarassing now thinking back. * I need to control my words. Thanks Daniel.*

I learnt a lot. Not that I do not appreciate my life in college. I somehow got to benefitted quite an amount in college that now I can compare my life in Form 6 and college. 6 months on college and 6 months in Form 6. I brought in what I got from college and practiced it in Seafield - Open minded-ness.

And weirdly, it's not PM5 (my ex-class in college) which connects me back to Taylors, it's Taylors Anime Society, which I didn't help out much back then, except in J101. Not eve Taylor's Dance Club.

Weird huh?

Money is not Everything. Everything is Money.
