Friends

It seems once you get comfortable where you're at, things change. Life is Full of changes. Two weeks ago I met this great lady and her three little girls at the pool. We became really good friends over the past two weeks and today she moved. We've spent the last bit of time getting together in the mornings and playing with our girls and then after lunch and nap time getting together to go swimming. It's been so much fun. I'm sad to see them move away, but I know it will be a great thing for them. Here are some pictures of our friends.  We are going to miss them SO much!!

When the mom asked her oldest girl what she would miss most about Phoenix, she said, "my friends, especially my friend from the pool" I was on the top of her list! how cool is that! She also made TONS of pictures for me. I've put a couple on my fridge to save for when she's a famous artist. 

This little munchkin in the pink is such a cutie. She would spend the time in the pool rescuing rolly-pollies from the bottom of the pool. She was so much fun! and super creative!

The little one  in blue was SO fearless!! She would jump into the pool, get out and run to the other side and jump in again! She was so much fun to play with! She's an adventurer!

I'm going to miss them!! What am I going to do now that i don't have planned swimming after naps and getting together in the mornings? And i keep thinking, "oh you should tell your friend that story tomorrow" but she wont be here tomorrow! I wish them the best. They have been a great blessing in my life! I've been grateful for the short time we were able to hang out together and i'm excited for road trips to visit them when we get back to  Utah.

yesterday we was Saturday. Saturday has become our adventure day . . . well at least every other Saturday has turned into that.  (thats why there was no blog for last week). Yesterday's adventure was to the Scottsdale Rail Road Museum. It was pretty fun!! We went with Husband's Sister and her family (the norm for an adventure) Here is some evidence that we were actually there.

We Just arrived. We ended up in a bad mood by the time we arrived at the museum because we got stuck in a construction zone. But that mood didn't last long at all.

"Buddy" ended up getting a flat tire on his stroller before showing up at the museum so Bug let him borrow hers. . . . Isn't he handsome in the pink stroller? (He did NOT enjoy the pink!!)

Bug has had this cling to mom thing going on this last week. When i set her down at the museum, this is how we ended up walking around. (Don't you just LOVE her scowl? The bad mood isn't over yet)

oops, this one's crooked. While playing on the playground, Husband put me in jail. I guess i needed to do laundry while i was there 

After I got free from Jail, i ordered husband to do his time . . . i guess i should find a new place for the key

Well, that ends the adventures at the museum, but the party didn't stop there. We ended up going to husband's sister's house and ate dinner and talked. The babies had their first wresle, that was pretty funny. Bug sat on Buddy and than Buddy crawled over bug. It was very entertaining. Here are two pictures from the party

we had a lot of fun. It's been great to still live close to Husband's sister. We have loved getting together with them. I don't know what we will do when we move away for school! I wont think about that . . . . I will enjoy the time we have down here, I promise!

Another Catch up Blog

This is another LONG blog post. I figure the main reason i look at a blog is to look at pictures, so I have way more then you probably want to look at. So lets get started!!

Since moving to our new city, we have made new friends and have been able to explore Phoenix! The first exploration we made was to the zoo. We Got to the zoo at 7 am and left at 1pm . . . we about DIED of heat!!! IT was SO hot!!! so most of the pictures that we took are of us sweating and not smiling.

This is the first picture of the day. This is my Sister in law and her family.

this is Bug's sick face. She caught a cold and was miserable for a couple of days. Her cousin ended up getting the same thing. poor babies!!

This is my first attempt at a quilt. Since taking this picture i've added a 4" purple boarder around the entire thing. One i tie it and put a backing on it i'll post another picture of it.

This was in the Physics section of the museum. Husband is pulling himself up with the rope. . . i tried and failed, i guess i better start working out

They have a section on the body, and in this section they have a ball pit in the shape of  a real heart. It was pretty cool to see and way fun to watch bug play in the pit.

We had Bug go down the slide . . .this slide was connected to a small play place that represented the human stomach. when you passed certain sections of the play place, sound effects would be made.When i tell you what the slide represented, you will either be grossed out or you would laugh.  lets just say that the slide represented food exiting your stomach, and as you slid down the slide, it would pass gas . . . totally an exhibit my dad would LOVE :D

Working my body . . . I was checking to see how fast i could wheel myself around in a wheel chair. . . not going to make that a habit. As you can tell from my facial expression, it was hard work.

We are trying to give her a variety of food and last weeks new food was PIZZA!! She LOVED it!! She will eat any type to! she ate a sausage bellpepper onion pizza to our surprised and was angry when we wouldn't give her any more.
