My sweet Jack had a very good and important thought a few weeks ago. Thank you to Rusty Court and Stephen Heggie for letting us use their store countertops, the lovely ladies at the pharmacy for helping us wrap them and the kind lady at the Westwind Weekly, Sharon, for the beautiful article. Jack made and sent off to the Red Cross $131.98 cents. Thank you Town of Raymond for all the donations. We love ya all!!

MAN I LOVE THIS CRAZY KID!!
It is our Addie-licious's birthday today (well yesterday Mar 5th) and how can I not just rave about this sweet, funny, and kinda nutty kid.
I just love her!!
So grateful that we were given the gift of being her mom and dad.
What to tell you about this monkey...
-she is a princess in every way
-so girly -this kid is absolutely gorgeous, I might be bias, but honestly isn't she STUNNING!!
-so loving and smooshy (maybe not really a word but no less true)
-totally cheesy (I'm usually the one getting the squishy kisses and cheesy grins and I have to say I love it) -A is so incredibly stubborn. If she wants a certain outfit for school or color of something then there is pretty much no changing your mind and if you fight for something else then you may as well plan on being late.
-So independent! Always trying to accomplish as much without help as she can. -right now your fave color is blue, was purple but nope don't even try and give her purple over blue now.
-JUSTIN BIEBER!!! Don't know why, I did not encourage this! However like many other aspects of her life there is no rhyme or reason. Just try and change her mind.

We love it!!! Ate it for dinner the other night and seriously considering having it again tomorrow night. The ladies just love it and love getting to tell me what they want in it. I am so grateful that there is an asian market in Leth that we can find all we need...Masago eggs, so good. Daddy and I love the spicy mayo, some raw scallops and of course soy with wasabi but the little ones think it's a little much.
LOVE IT!!! Seriously can't wait for dinner tomorrow night. SUSHI!!!

New Glasses

You may also notice the new love of Addie's life...we can't walk through a store without her grabbing any shirt or other image of Justin Bieber and kissing the life out of it. Any song on the radio the question is asked "Is this Justin Bieber?' (whether male or female voice, which I find very funny) SHE"S 4!!! What is she gonna be like when she's 15??? She is convinced that she will marry him. Tonight in the car Brae told her that he would be married by then cause of their age difference. Jack said to her "Yep, he will have been married a few times cause that's how all rock stars are, they can't stick with just one woman" Nice!! Thank you entertainment industry for your wonderful example to our little kids.

My LOVES!!

Family Home evening last week was a fun reminder of why we all love one another.
So easy and so fun for the kids, mom and dad. I have caught each of the girls looking at and reading what was said about them and what was said about their sisters. Sometimes it's nice to be reminded of who we are to each other.























My sweet friend Rebecca Cooper (who we think of and miss often) has a beautiful blog that keeps us all "linked" up. She always has fun and creative ideas. (and if you watch carefully at her photography pics on the side you might see a beautiful little lady with BIG blue eyes sittin on a chair wearing a lovely hat)

Day 10...Something I'm afraid of!!

AAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

This was a really hard day of the challenge for me to do 'cause as irrational as some of these fears are they are still real fears. Looking up some of the pictures has made me seriously ill. Literally feel like throwing up right now.

But here they are, my totally ridiculous and completely unfounded and irrational fears!

Earthquakes. This article is pretty scary. We go to California alot and this is something I have always been afraid of.

Every time I go to Cali I have little panic atacks when I go over all their big bridge overpasses, thinking that an earthquake is going to hit and the bridge is going to collapse. I am quiet about it but in my mind I am freaking out! One of the times that we went to San Fran was right after the earthquake/Tsunami in the Indian Ocean and I am not exaggerating when I say that I looked out our hotel window constantly to make sure the ocean had not receded in the beginnings of a tsunami.

I told you...completely irrational.

Mark is always trying to get me to watch stupid movies with Zombies and I can't tell you how much those kind of movies scare me. Just ill.

I can watch intense and somewhat scary shows but anything like that makes me physically sick with fear. Also any movie where a child is involved, zombie or not. Just any scary movies that have to do with kids.

I know I'm not alone in this one. I will never forget this day. We had gotten our satellite the day before and all I did that day was sit and hold my baby Jackson, cry and watch the tv for hours and hours. My heart broke. For years after I had a very hard time getting on a plane and not looking around and wondering if there were terrorists on board. It could be anyone, I would think. I have gotten better but I do still have this fear.

Of course these are all my "fears" but there are always the parenting fears...what if my kid has no friends, what if they aren't "popular", what if they are too "popular" and jerks to other kids, what kind of life will they have, what if they hate me, what if I wreck them?

I have alot of fears but I guess what I've learned about fear is that I could let it rule me and never fly on a plane or visit the ocean and have moments of being scared or hide away in my home where I feel safe and never experience real life. Or I could enjoy my life! I choose life...and Hawaii and California and one day Europe and fun!!! I guess when it's my time it's my time.
As for zombies, well I just don't need to watch the stupid movie!
