oh.. so little.

Just a week my little guy look at how little. This size goes way too fast and before you know it you forget that they were ever so tiny. Like Granny Edstrom says have them small and grow them big.

Big Sister

Jada Pearl loves the challenge of being a BIG SISTER. I never thought she would handle the responsibility as well as she has. Jada is there for him the second he cry's and her favorite saying is "It's ok Buddy!" I love to watch her the way she looks at him is priceless, but watch out. She is very protective and doesn't want anyone especially little kids to touch any of his things. When she saw him in the hospital she instantly wanted to hold him, and give him lots of sugar filled kisses. When Grammy Weeks asked her if she could take him home she said "Uhh..ah". So she didn't quite get that it was her baby and she was going to take him home. But now things are different the other day Grammy said that she was going to steal Brand'n and Jada was so distressed she cried and ran after her telling her "No.. Grammy No.." We are so glad she has such an attachment to her little brother, but how couldn't she he is addicting.

Our new Addition Brand'n Delbert Edstrom

Brand'n Delbert Edstrom came to our family March 29th, 2009 at 5:17 a.m. weighing 5 pounds 8 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. What a miracle he is and such a blessing into our home. It will never cease to amaze me how precious and special new life is. There is a feeling that comes along in that moment in time when you hold your little one that can not adequately be described. How thankful I am to be a mom and have the blessings that come with the responsibility. Brand'n was given his name through lots of thought and major consideration there was no doubt a feeling about him that made this name the only one that fit. Brian and I studied wether it would be right or not to use it, but it was a thought that I could not get passed. I just hope to raise him with the understanding of the honor that comes with carrying on such a responsibility of his name and that Brand'n Alexander Neibaur feels the love through our little boy.
