Back To School 2014
Can you believe it?! We now have a fifth grader...
...and two Juniors!
Jacob, Tessa, Mark and I celebrated the end of summer vacation with a visit to the Waffle Love truck!
We died over the chocolate filled waffles with fluffy, homemade whipped cream and fresh strawberries!
Afterwards we perused Rusty Saturday's collection of antiques and the kiddos practiced their best school behavior in the vintage school desk. Here's to a great year!

Summer Art Camp
Tessa blew us away with her amazing artistic talent this summer! She attended an art camp directed by our friend, Shannon Baker, who had such great projects!
I love the pops of color with this amazing turtle!
This was her "Grand Finale" multi-media piece that I insist on displaying in our family room!

Tessa's Room Make-over
For Tessa's tenth birthday, she wanted a room-makeover, and boy did she ever get a good one! From a fabulous new ombre ruffled bedding set...
...to a fresh coat(s) of white paint on the walls filled with amazing coral-framed art...
...a new IKEA dresser lovingly assembled by her dad...
...a new paint color and fabric on her bulletin board...
...an adorable owl lamp we spiffed up with some blue paint...
...and home-made Anthropologie knock-off curtains made from sheets with pom-pom fringe.
The art was "compliments" of Pinterest, printed at Costco. ==
Oh, and I painted her desk as well! What a lucky girl! We're in love with how it all came together!

Tessa Turns Ten!

Bryan turned 18! We're so proud of the wonderful accomplishments he's made, and we should know in a few days where he'll be serving his mission! This was his photo for his mission application.

Saturday's Warrior
I have such fond memories of seeing the musical Saturday's Warrior as a child and was thrilled with the chance we had to take our family to see it! It really was wonderfully done and I hope our testimonies of forever families strengthened with it's message and fun music!
Go Barracudas!
Tessa had another fabulous swim team season. Practices were every morning, Monday thru Thursday at 7:30 am. That's a ton of dedication for a 10 year old!
She swam with good friends and survived the brutal heat during the evening meets.
Way to go, Tessa! We're so proud of you!
