Natalie's 1st Birthday!

Natalie turned 1 July10th. She is doing great. She is crawling, pulling up, and now standing on her own without holding on to anything.We are still waiting for her first steps. Since I last updated she got tubes in her ears and got a good report from the ENT doctor this week. She is so funny and her teachers at daycare always have stories for me when I pick her up. We are having such a good time with Natalie. She keeps our lives full and interesting.

Easter Weekend

Natalie is now sitting up and getting in her bottom teeth. She's doing very well.

Natalie had her first swimming lesson. She loved it. We are looking forward to the next one.

My words to the doctor " OH CRAP!!! WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THAT?"

We went to the doctor yesterday because Natalie had a fever and looked horrible. She tested positive for the Flu. The doctor kept us in the office for awhile after giving her Motrin and making sure she was ok. Once we got home she started feeling worse. Her temp got up to 103.2 and she was breathing really heavy. Of course I panicked and called the doctor again. We were about 30 minutes from going to the ER, but her temp came down and she was breathing a little easier. He wanted to see her for follow up today and she sounded worse so he did an x-ray, but lungs still clear...thank goodness. She also got an ear infection over night. So now she is on antibiotics. How does that happen? Her ears were fine yesterday. Oh well, leave it to my Natalie. She does seem to be feeling a little better today and her temp has stayed down. We start swimming lessons next Saturday. I hope she is feeling better by then. She loves the water. I have a feeling we are going to have a lot of fun.

Natalie has an ear infection and is on antibiotics. She also has a cough again along with the wheezing. She just can't catch a break. Starting in March Natalie is starting swimming lessons. I can't wait. Hopefully her ear infection will be better soon. She's not quite sitting up on her own yet, but that will come. I have to keep in mind she is a month behind. You could never tell by looking at her. John and Natalie are having a screaming contest in the picture of he and Natalie. It was pretty funny. I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day.

Sorry again that it has been awhile. Natalie is now 6 and a half months old. She is not sitting up quite yet, but is giving it her best. She had her second laser treatment on her hemangioma this past Tuesday. She will have another one at 9 and a half months. We will then just keep an eye on it and see what happens. It might shrink on it's own, but depending on the scarring she may still need it removed. Here are some pictures that I thought were pretty funny. She cracks me up!
