Natalie turned 3 yesterday. She had a great weekend celebrating with Ninnie and Papa Chip, Grandma and Grandpa , and of course Mommy and Daddy. She got a lot of princess dolls, tea set, books, puzzles, and a Barbie beetle bug electric car. She had us laughing and is so smart and observant. She's a blessing.

Well it has been a year since I have updated and a lot has happened. Natalie started walking September 12th. Halloween was great. We went Trick-or Treating to Ms. Midges house and it was great. Grandma and Grandpa went with us. Natalie was saying "How-ween. Thanksgiving was fun, but Natalie wasn't up for the food. She did eat some mashed potatoes. We had a great Christmas. Natalie said "Seata" for Santa. She didn't really bother the tree much which I didn't expect. We hung her a small pink Christmas tree upside down from the ceiling in her room for her to enjoy.
It is now July and she is saying more and more all of the time. In the past week her vocabulary has skyrocketed. She said"It my birthday" on the way home from school Friday. I took cupcakes and it sounds like her teachers made a big deal of it, which I am so happy about it. We had a small party for her 2nd birthday with Ninnie and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa. She had a blast. The most exciting thing for her was the balloons. She screamed with excitement for about 10 minutes playing with those balloons. She loved her Elmo cake. She wasn't too thrilled when we started singing to her . She grabbed onto me and hid her eyes. Today she wants it to still be her birthday and stood on a chair in the kitchen saying"birthday, birthday" so I lit a her #2 candle and let her blow it out again. I will post some pictures. We had pictures taken yesterday for her birthday and she was not thrilled to say the least. We got what we could and had to stop. She was tired so it was partly my fault. I scheduled them during her normal nap time. We even tried to use a big teddy bear, you can see how that turned out. Enjoy the photos.
Natalie turned 1 July10th. She is doing great. She is crawling, pulling up, and now standing on her own without holding on to anything.We are still waiting for her first steps.Since I last updated she got tubes in her ears and got a good report from the ENT doctor this week. She is so funny and her teachers at daycare always have stories for me when I pick her up. We are having such a good time with Natalie. She keeps our lives full and interesting.
We went to the doctor yesterday because Natalie had a fever and looked horrible. She tested positive for the Flu. The doctor kept us in the office for awhile after giving her Motrin and making sure she was ok. Once we got home she started feeling worse. Her temp got up to 103.2 and she was breathing really heavy. Of course I panicked and called the doctor again. We were about 30 minutes from going to the ER, but her temp came down and she was breathing a little easier. He wanted to see her for follow up today and she sounded worse so he did an x-ray, but lungs still clear...thank goodness. She also got an ear infection over night. So now she is on antibiotics. How does that happen? Her ears were fine yesterday. Oh well, leave it to my Natalie. She does seem to be feeling a little better today and her temp has stayed down. We start swimming lessons next Saturday. I hope she is feeling better by then. She loves the water. I have a feeling we are going to have a lot of fun.
