Go Huskers!

Tom and Brent went to the Holiday Bowl last night. It was a shut out. Nebraska killed them 33 - 0. Tom came home with a hoarse voice from cheering. It was the first Nebraska game he's been able to attend since he was in college. He had a great time. Here are some pictures.

Potato Face

Dinner time is always messy at our house. The other night, Logan discovered he loves mashed potatoes. This picture reminds me of "A Christmas Story". Here is my "little piggy."

Yikes, it's been a long time since our last post. We are finally settled into the new house. We spent Halloween in Ridgecrest with the family and we hosted Thanksgiving here. Logan is getting so big and so smart. He such a fun kid we can't wait to see what he'll do next. Here are some pics from the last couple months.

New House

We finally found a house. We close October 5th and we are so excited. I don't think this front picture does it justice. The inside has been updated and the backyard will be perfect for Logan and the dogs. California here we come!

Dancing Machine

Logan transitioned to the over 1 year old section of the day care. He has picked up some new moves from watching the big kids. Here is a video of him dancing...so funny.

Spaghetti Night

Logan had pasta with spaghetti sauce tonight. I think more of it made it to his face than his belly, but he had a good time. He's getting so big...we love this crazy kid!

Learning to Walk

Logan has been standing for a while so we bought him a truck to test out those legs...he looks like he's had one two many. It won't be long now until he's running with Tom.

Bath Time

We finally broke out the camera for bath time. Yes it's the picture that everyone has taken when they are growing up...the famous soapy bath baby.

Honolulu Zoo

We took Logan to the Zoo today. His Grandma was there and we had a good time looking at the animals. Here are some pictures.

Easter Picture

Logan has started to crawl. He's not great yet but he's getting around. For some reason he loves the doorstop. We bought him all these fun baby toys today and still the doorstop rules.

Day at the Beach

We took Logan to the beach today. He didn't hate it but he wasn't loving it either. Here are some pics.

Sitting Up

Here is a video of Logan sitting up. He is still very wobbly but getting better. He also had his first tooth break through this week. He's been pretty grumpy but I imagine it hurts pretty bad.

Camping at Bellows

We went camping at Bellows Air Force Base this weekend. Logan did really well until the end. I think he started to feel a little sick and then he got the runs. He ending up pooping on our friend's foot...it was so gross. Luckily we were all packing up to go home and we weren't too far from showers. Here are a few pictures...not of poop.

More Hiking

We did some more hiking yesterday. Logan did awesome. He didn't cry much and loved being outdoors. We were bad parents and didn't put sunscreen on him...so he got a little burned. It doesn't seem to bother him too much but Tom and I felt bad. He looks so cute in his shades and hat. Here are some new pictures:

Hiking Diamond Head

We hiked Diamond Head today. Logan did great! I made it to the top but my out of shape body will make me pay tomorrow. Here are some pics.

Mean Things Parents Do

Logan got a blue fuzzy elephant coat for Christmas. His cousin Brielle got a pink fuzzy bunny coat. We decided to torture our children and dress them up in their new coats for pictures. It was really funny. Brielle just laid there and looked like road kill. I hope they forgive us...but they were really cute. Here is some video of Logan the Blue Elephant.

We didn't stay up last night. Once Logan went to bed, sleep seemed too valuable. Good thing we are in Hawaii, we still got to see the ball drop. Happy New year everyone. I hope it's a good one.
