Happy Halloween

I've been transferring some of our old family video from VHS to the computer. This one cracks me up and is appropriate for the holiday. This was my last year trick-or-treating. I was in 6th grade and too cool for the camera. The funny thing is while trick-or-treating I ran through the neighbor's yard, tripped on a gardening wire, and totally ate it. You can see from my costume why this would be extra embarrassing.

Also here are some funny pictures of Logan in his first Halloween costume.

Smile Logan

I can't wait for Logan to smile. He hasn't done it yet but I think we are close. He is starting to make some noises and it looks like he can recognize me. He is going to be 5 weeks old on Thursday. I can't believe how quickly it's going by.

Cute Pictures

Our friend Harmony is a really good photographer. She was over at the house the other day and snapped a few pictures of Logan. I know I'm biased but he's so cute. Here they are.

Awesome Sling Thing

I just have to say, thank you Harmony, the sling thing is awesome. Logan loves to hangout in it. He stays really content while I walk around the house. The great thing is my hands are free to do other things. Hopefully, the slings magical powers will last for a few months.

Two Week Checkup

Logan had his two week checkup yesterday. It was nice because the Navy sponsors a nurse to come to your house and perform the exam. The nurse was really great. She answered all of my silly new mom questions and showed us some cool tummy time techniques. Logan has gained a pound on his birth weight and now weighs 8lbs 13 oz. I think he's going to be a big boy. He loves to eat. He is also very strong and according to the nurse pretty coordinated for a newborn. He was doing a great job lifting and pushing across the floor during tummy time. Here some pictures of the little Sailor outfit I wanted to bring him home from the hospital in. With all the drama coming home we skipped the outfit but he still looks cute.

Dolphin Swim

We took my sister Emma to Sea Life Park today. It was nice to get out of the house for a few hours. Tom was awesome and watched Logan all morning while I played. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Game Day

Even though Nebraska was creamed by Mizzou they still had the cutest mascot. Logan and his dad suited up for the game today. GO BIG RED!

Aunt Brookie's outfit

Here is Mr. Logan in the outfit sent by his aunt Brookie and uncle McKay. I love the little moccasin booties.
