2009 Police Motors Competition

The 2009 Police Motorcycle competition was held at Timp Harley Davidson in Lindon City this year. It has always been at Miller Sports Park, which I believe is in Toole. So being so close, only a few minutes away, I took the two kiddos to see some of the activities. And Ofcourse, we had several or our very own Troopers in the competition and they showed Luke the New BMW bikes they are eventually switching to. I got to see for the first time the Beamers in action as well. It was alot of fun. The actual competition was on Saturday, which I was unable to attend. So I don't know any results. But here are a few pictures...

August Campin!!!

One last hurrah before Erin had to go back to work. We went camping up American Fork Canyon at Timpanoke. It was pretty. Wednesday night it was just the Heywood Co. and Jackson(Luke's cousin). On Thursday, Holly came up with Cooper and we went to a small lake further up the canyon from Tibble Fork called Silver Flat Lake. It turned out to be half full. They drain it at the end of the summer, but I was hoping to have beaten that, but oh well. The kiddos threw rocks into the lake and mud, and we had lunch. We headed back down to Tibble Fork, where they again threw rocks into the water, but was a little better area for them to play in the water. They took turns learning how to cast on Luke's new fishing pole. We never really actually fished on this trip. Maybe next time now that they are all pros. On Thursday night, Mark and Linda came up for dinner. If was alot of fun.
