NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!

This kid is crazy. But I will keep her. Today is our 7th day of NO DIAPERS!!!!!!! Now anyone who has had kids knows that this is huge! (even people who don't, will find out how AWESOME it is) Anyways, we only had one day of relapse 3 days in, but we are good to go. She even wakes up in the middle of the night and asks to go "pees". Ahhhhhh what a beautiful day! I will no longer need to buy stock in Huggies.

Dear Killian,

Dear Killian,
Mom cried alot today. Every day is hard. Going to work is no fun. You always send me off with a heart-breaking "Momma don't go to work." It tears at my heart as I leave you girls. You and Olivia put your heads in the window, wave and blow kisses till I round the corner. "Momma YOU HOME!" Is the first thing I hear when I come home. I love your voice. So Killi today Mom is sorry. I was at work all day. When I came home it was time to go to a school activity for Jackson. So I got you ready and the 3 of us headed out. I couldn't pay alot of attention to any of you individually. It was busy and very crowded. As we drove home, you fell asleep. I got you out of your carseat, and you laid your sweet sleeping head on my shoulder. It was then that I realized it was 7:30 and I had no real time with you today. I'm so sorry sweetie. I know that one day you will know why Mom has to work. It is for you, because I love you! Just remember you are home with Daddy, and he loves you soo much. Your such a big girl, and I am so proud of you. I Love you ten! (hold up your ten fingers)
Love you,
Mommy

I'm a big girl now!

Most of you know that I have been working at a Care and Rehab center in St. George. Rich has not been cleared to go back to work (and wont be until back surgery) so I have been the "working" parent for the past year and 3 months. I was the cook, and LOVED it! I love cooking, so why not get paid for it. The pay was not great and we were really struggling. If it were not for parents and grandparents I'm not really sure how we would have survived. So we have been praying extra hard, my mom has put our names in the Temple every 2 weeks (for years), and most recently our ward had a special fast for the "Unemployed, or underemployed". Last Thursday I was walking down the hall at work when the Executive Director of the facility asked if I could see him after work. Long story short, my boss was fired 2 hours before my meeting, and I was offered the position. Sad to see the boss go, but incredibly humbled by the offer. Knowing it was an answer to a prayer, I accepted. Today was day 3. It has been the most difficult job I have ever had. More involved than anyone would ever think. The pay raise was very significant. It will be hard, but I am very excited. I love my residents, and knowing I can help them be happier is so awesome for me. So say hello to the new Dietary Manager of St. George Care and Rehab. Heavenly Father has blessed us so much! Tithing works! Prayer works! And working your rear off works!

My Little Man Is 8!

On June 24th, Jackson Lee turned 8. I cant believe that my little man is that old! As I was trying to decide what pictures to post, I started off very organized. Then I got digging around.. randomly started adding pictures, and before you know it everything was out of order and I added way more photos than I had planned on. So ignore the order and check out what a cute kid I have.
Jackson has a very green thumb. He loves to garden. HE can actually get things to grow. If he has dirt, he is happy. Every holiday he asks for seeds. (6 years old here)
Baseball with Dad. Anything that involves a ball and his Dad...he is in.
The best big brother any girl could ask for. He could never keep his hands off the girls, esp when they were tiny. He would grab either one just to pose for a picture. (Jackson and Killian)
In a weird way this picture reminds me of one with Page and I. We would always squeeze together to watch t.v. They do it too.
Judge the laundry if you will (sorry mom) but I couldn't pass this picture up. Like father like son. Rock on hands any time he has a chance. The boys will get their toys out...and well we will leave it at that.
Gonna drive the girls crazy.......cant you see it?
Now go back 8 years. My precious 1st born. Born at 3:21 am. June 24th 2002.
A nice Sunday afternoon....Zzzzzzzz
The day he was blessed.
Yes, he was that small.
6 months old.
Squeeze those cheeks!
4 years old, Surprise, AZ.
Jackson is such a blessing in our lives. He is one of my very best friends! He is my huge guy. He wears size 12 pants, 3.5 in shoes. The kid is not small. His new church shirt is 10/12! His favorite color is red. He loves his new scriptures, his bird Kevin, any type of pasta, and his family. Jackson, I love you!

Happy Birthday To You!

Well with the company of a cutie like this, what birthday wouldn't be great?! Last Wednesday Rich had a birthday. I am pretty sure he has been dreading it, but handled it quite well. The big 40!
And typical Rich, all he wanted for his birthday was to get out of the heat. From S.G at 104, to Pine Valley at 82.
My kids are posers.....I love it!
Not a birthday cake for him..... boysenberry pie! 40 candles would have been interesting, we opted for 1 per decade
This picture shows the personality of my girls, more than I could ever even try. A picture speaks a thousand words.
We're following the leader, the leader, the leader...
And what adventure would be complete without a picture of a pioneer house:)
Silly girls, and a tough guy.
It was a great day. It is nice to have a day all about you, and I hope it was like that for Rich! He is the best dad ever. Those kids have him completely wrapped. 11 years ago I heard about him. 10 years ago I started dating him. 9 years ago I married him. He is my best friend.

NINE!

Well everyone, a week ago today Rich and I had a very happy day! We celebrated our 9th anniversary! I suckered my awesome friend into watching my kids, and Rich and I had 4 hours of no kids. I love my crazy madness dont get me wrong....but a dinner out, without 3 bathroom breaks, was divine! After dinner we took a stroll around the temple. Now if I was computer savvy at all, I would insert a beautiful picture of the St. George temple here. But i'm not. So picture it. Pretty huh? Well in 9 years we have had, 11 moves (not including our partial stays with fam while moving), 3 crazy adorable kids, 3 dog ownership attempts, about 30 fish, (currently 19 snails), a bird named Kevin. Wouldn't trade it for the world! I am so grateful to have been married in the temple , I know that because of that my family will be together forever! And what an AMAZING blessing that is. Oh I just want to break into my primary tunes....."I love to see the Temple".

Sometimes we ditch school.......

And we go play! We go to Zion alot! The kids think it is the greatest thing living so close to it.
We all know that I just took this picture because I like the color of the lichen.
My kids are adorable, and sometimes they act like they like each other.
While we played around, I sat and enjoyed the sand.....ooohhhh cool sand on tired feet! Killi joined me.
We played in snow.....
We got cheesy for mom and the camera.......
We went to a little ghost town called "Grafton". Rich had family that lived here. It is kindof creepy in a cool way.
They actually were given permission to film "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" in Grafton. This (above) was the site where they filmed. The "Bicycle" scene was filmed right there. If you have never seen the movie....nevermind.
There are only a few original houses left in Grafton. This is one.
We will get to this pic later....out of order.
oops.
This is the cemetery outside of town. Some of the head stones say, "killed by Indians". Some graves were those of Indians. Above was just a headstone of one of Rich's ancestors.
This is that house that was a couple pic's above. Teeny tiny. Rich would have a hard time living here.
Cheese!
This is the old school house still standing. You used to be able to go inside, but a couple years ago they refurbished it due to heavy graffiti, and vandalism. People are stupid. They have done a great job and it looks awesome! Ok so I know that is probably not interesting to anyone, but I dont care. Jackson likes to get on the blog, so I guess it can be for him :)

MMMM Toothpaste!

Killian has a couple things she loves to eat. She can eat her body weight in bubble gum. She can eat chocolate in mass quantities (a girl after my own heart!). And apparently she likes to sneak in the bathroom, steal the toothpaste, and have an evening snack.
She is getting so big. She is so very smart, she keeps us on our toes. Ehhh, we'll keep her!

Get ready for pictures!

Ok, so Page and Jas had our family for Christmas, and this is what they gave us! Page had her friend who does pro-pic's take these adorable pictures of my little ones.
These were taken in November, so you can probably tell in a few of these shots, that they were getting a bit cold.
Liv thinks that Jackson is her own personal jungle gym.
They have a short attention span:)
Chilly!
They think the world of this kid. Killi loves giving kisses!

Hippie child is always dancing!
And my cutie girl....
K, there it is. Some of the cutest kids known to mankind. I think I will keep them! Thanks Page, for your thoughtful gift! We love it, and you!
