Oh My Lenlee!

Bella's Starts Preschool

Bella started back to preschool on August 21st. To explain the first few pictures, Bella is not a morning person...

Bella was actually excited about starting a new year. She will be in the 4 year old class 2 days a week. Bella has spent the summer awaiting this day. Happy first day, Bella girl!

After picking the girls up from school, I took all three of them to CFA for free ice cream sundaes in honor of Bella's first day back. It was delicious and lots of fun!

On Thursday, Bella was suppose to dress like a cowgirl for school so during home-school on Wednesday, Bella and I worked to make a pink cowgirl hat. Here's my cute cowgirl just before heading to school.

A Visit to Cookeville

Monday, the girls and I took advantage of schooling at home and drove to Cookeville to visit Aunt Maleah. We did a little schooling in the car and visited the children's museum once we arrived. While at the museum, the girls played with sand, made art creations for Maleah, picked apples, and more. For lunch we enjoyed an old college favorite of mine, Stroud's BBQ. After a visit to the market to do a little shopping, we took the girls to Big O's for doughnuts. To wrap up our visit in Cookeville, we went by the Gammon's house to soak up some fun with old friends. The girls and I had a wonderful day...thanks Aunt Maleah!

Sister Playtime

This is the girls favorite place to play together. When Lenlee wakes up from a nap, Reagan and Bella run to jump in the bed with her. They usually give her a few books (Snuggle Puppy being the favorite) and sometimes a few toys. The sounds of their giggles melt a mommy's heart!

The Sounds of UT Football

Saturday morning, August 18th, we enjoyed listening to the band practice in Neyland Stadium as the prepare for the start of football season. Our cousin, Maggie, is a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band making the experience all the more special. The day started with watching the band march to the stadium and rehearse the pregame show. Once in the stadium, the girls enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Big Orange. It was a cool, beautiful August day and we had a blast!

While watching Daniel walk Reagan and Bella around the stadium, I noticed that he was lower Bella over onto the football field, then Reagan. Lastly, he jumped over the side to join them. Oh to stand on the field!

It's Offical

Reagan is a Kindergartener! Today was Reagan's first day of school in her new co-op class. She will attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. MWF will be spent schooling at home with me. Reagan was excited to get started and had a wonderful first day!

Monday, August, 13, 2012 began our new journey of homeschooling/co-op. Reagan is now in Kindergarten and Bella is in pre-K. They will school at home with me on MWF and attend co-op K and pre-K 4 on TTH. Our first day of schooling at home went well and was certainly busy with all 3 kiddos at home. We had fun learning about our author of the month, painting, learning about mammals, and more. This year promises to be both rewarding and challenging...we are excited for the adventure!
