O is for... Opera Scenes!

This semester, as many of you know, Craig was able to participate in BYU-Idaho's production of Opera Scenes. Even though Craig is not a student this semester they called him in to do an audition and ended up landing one of the biggest roles in the production! They performed different scenes from operas, including Don Giovanni and Marriage of Figaro which are the scenes that Craig was in. This past weekend was the performance. Craig did an awesome job at being the creepy, bad boy Don Giovanni. It was nice to get back into the swing of things, and it may be one of his last big performances. Hopefully not.

N is for... New family member

Welcome to the Bronson family, Samantha. Just after work today (Friday the 13th!), Sarah had come to pick up Craig and do a little shopping.  As we headed into Wal-mart, we noticed a bit of commotion.  Wondering what was going on, we headed over to investigate.  We soon saw a family with a few puppies.  One of them had very unique coloring, so Sarah really wanted to play with it.  She was a chocolate lab, heeler mix.  Craig had always been fond of heelers, so we thought the mix would be cool.  When the family said the word "free", we knew that we should take advantage.  She is a creamy color with scattered brown spots.  She also has one blue eye.  Jack is a little jealous right now, but we think that they will be good friends.  We plan to keep her for quite some time, but if by some chance things don't work out we figure her coloring would attract a good family.  As you may have guessed, we've named her Samantha. (That's the name of Will Smith's dog in "I Am Legend", and also a variation of Sammy Hagar, former lead singer of Van Halen.)  She's absolutely adorable! And seems to rival Jack in ability to whine.

M is for...Mass Hysteria!

Ok, so it's really not that crazy, but I just thought that was a good attention getter.  Well, life has not been anything too exciting for us here in good 'ole Sugar City.  We just figured a nice simple update wouldn't be so bad.

Sarah is still working up at Madison Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper.  It definitely has its downsides, but during the current economy, we're just happy that she has a job.  She's on "on call" worker, so it makes it easier for her to get time off, but she's been lucky to pick up a lot of extra shifts as well.  We're grateful for that.

Craig is still at Winger's.  It's been going very well.  Now that he is available to work almost any shift, he gets called to work a lot.  Even with only 20 hours or so each week, he's making just enough to get things done.  He likes it there a lot, and is just glad that he worked two jobs while he could.

Sarah is officially registered for classes starting April 20th.  She only has about a semester and a half left, then she will graduate on December.  Craig is still trying to get it all worked out.  He was mildly misinformed about what it takes to re-apply, but now after about the 100th step to it all, everything is in and we're just waiting to hear back.  Once he's accepted we still need to find out what track he will be on.  We hope Fall, because then he will be able to graduate just one semester after Sarah.

Our little family is doing well.  Jack is just same old Jack.  He loves his little squeaker toy that we got him for his birthday.  He almost drives us nuts with it, but luckily he likes to sleep as much as we do at night  Peanut is...well we're not sure.  She's healthy and stuff, but we can't ever play with her! She just does not seem to want to warm up to us.  We would play with her more but she always either freaks out and gets us al scratched up, or decides we're make good litter boxes.

So that's life for us Bronsons.  We are so happy to be in this family.  After our last FHE with everyone we just have had a special appreciation for what being a Bronson really means, and we love every bit of it!  Even Sarah is enjoying it (mwah ha ha ha!).  We love everyone!
