WV Wedding

I went to WV by myself to attend my friend's (from 5th grade) wedding. It was a quick trip for sure, but I got to see a lot of family & the wedding was beautiful. It was a nice break, but after all the hassle I had traveling, it was so nice to just get home.

While my mother & I were lost in Morgantown for the wedding, I had finally figured out where we were & was less stressed. I said, "Look, there's a Taco Bell." She says, "I don't give a hell what's here! Just get me to the hotel." I had to document that because I laughed about it for days. Come to think of it...it's still pretty hilarious.

Visitors

Mammaw & Pappaw Murphy came to visit in September. We had lots of free time because all the kids are now in school. We painted the kitchen & the garage door & a few other little things. We went bowling & were consumed by all the sports practices we are committed to. We had fun & I was very grateful for the help.

Soccer

Soccer started a few weeks ago. Hannah is sitting this season out to rest her foot & Izzie is one of the stars of her team. She can keep up with the boys & tries to be aggressive. She has scored several goals & continues to be a leader.

Football

Ryan has been waiting his whole life to play football. He is on the Farmington Bandits & his team is pretty good. They have 1 game left, their record is 6-1 & they have already made the playoffs. He LOVES football & can't get enough. I can barely drag him outta practice.

First day of school

Izzie went to kindergarten. Hannah went to Middle School. Ryan had to wait an extra day to go to school so we went to McDonald's for breakfast. He went to 3rd grade the next day. Hannah has had a head time adjusting, but it's getting better. Ryan & Izzie love school.

Hannah B Turns 11

Another year closer to a teenager. *shiver* a simple party at home with a 4 layer neon cake.

11 thing we love about Hannah

1. She came out with attitude & she still has it. We like to call it feisty.

2. She can entertain herself for hours with a tv, iPod, paper & markers, or all of the above.

3. She loves to read, especially anything about Justin Beiber.

4. She is loyal, as long as you are loyal to her.

5. Don't piss her off.

6. She loves shoes. It's genetic.

7. She doesn't care what people think about her. She is unique & has the guts to show it.

8. Hannah is very creative & always dreaming up a script, writing a poem, thinking up a song, drawing or making a bracelet.

9. Hannah loves her family & fight to the death for them, but never shows it. That's not her style.

10. She's great at soccer even though she is taking a break for a little while for her foot to heal. She can boot the ball & take your head off.

11. She's figuring out who she is & what she stands for & thinks is right. She's headed down the right path & has a bright future.
