Here is our newest lovely...Talia Danae; what do you think of that hair?. She is wearing my blessing dress, also Clara's blessing dress (Thanks Mom for saving the extra frilly white dress, it has become a fun heirloom and tradition for our family). Here are all the other wonderful lovelies of our family. Aren't they growing into the most handsome of children...

This is an early picture of our very prosperous garden. We have harvested loads of lettuces, spinach, carrots, beets, cabbages, broccoli, strawberries, raspberries and peas so far. We have tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, brussel sprouts, pumpkins, summer squash, winter squash, parsnips, beans, grapes and corn to go!!! Yum, Yum, you gotta love that rabbit poo, it's got magic growing power.



Hello, Yoda...Our happy little goat doing his silly little trick. We have many fun animals to keep us happy and very busy; we now have a cute little puppy named Copper to add to the count. He is our German Shepherd that will add a bit of security to our homestead.




This beautiful rainbow landed in our neighbors backyard across the street. The boys were so anxious to run and find the pot of gold, but they soon found out the rainbow disappeared the closer they got to it. It was a fun way to remind us of the promise from Heaven and the doctrine that goes with it.

Yes, it is always the same story...It's been a long time since I have updated, so here is the abridged version of what has happened over the last few months.

• Porter was baptised
  
• Halloween came and went (We had a vampire, ghost, werewolf, and ballerina)
  
• We harvested 2 of our turkeys (each weighed 25 pounds) and donated them to celebrate our two family's Thanksgiving dinners (I hosted 25 family members for one of the dinners)
• Christmas was full of wonderful traditions and magical memories that are going to be archived in my mind forever
• We got rid of Kobe, our beautiful weimaraner (we just weren't able to give him the attention he so much deserved)
• We now have a freezer full of rabbits (to be substituted in recipes calling for chicken)

There are a lot of in between happenings that occurred, but they deserve much more detail, so hopefully they will get touched on soon.
We are all doing well, but experiencing a bit of spring fever. I've got my gardening catalogs out, and have already started some seeds. It's probably not the greatest time to start a garden, considering I will be held up a bit with a wee little infant, but that is where having a wonderful husband, who enjoys to garden and landscape too, is such a bonus. We are a day a way from leaving to Moab for Garrek's 50K+ (that's just over 33 miles). The boys are so excited, they have been talking about it for months. Just this morning they said they wanted to skip Valentines at school and leave early so we could get to Moab. I am so glad we have race traditions that are leaving favorable memories already in our young children's minds. And Moab, awe Moab (and the surronding area), what more can I say...it is definately one of our families most prefered spots on the whole planet! It could be debated as one of the most beautiful places in the world, but that's not where my focus lies, the memories we have from our yearly excursions have got to be the "jewel" of this tradition.
I am now officially in my 3rd trimester, and am feeling pretty good. Baby #5 is growing well, the ultrasound showed "perfect" baby parts, but yet again, we opted to avoid knowing if we have a little boy or girl. Of course I am rooting for a little sister for Clara's sake, but if it's another brother, we know that is what is supposed to be.
Well, it is snowing, and there is a forcast of snow for the weekend, but I hope there will be a small break to give us a safe journey and enjoyable time in Moab. Have a good one...
