Innocent

Joshua loves to grab my cup when I am drinking water. He wants a sip as well. This time he took hold of the packet of Innocent smoothie which we all love. It was a peach and passion fruit one.



As I was reading a meerkat book to Leanne, she surprised me when she corrected my rendition of "I like to move it". Sometimes, I just never know what's in that girl's head. Presumably she learnt it from Madagascar.

Her imaginative play has increased by leaps and bounds since she turned three. She is able to conduct conversations by herself more and plays independently most of the time now. Boy, can't wait till Josh gets to this stage too!

Hannah and Dom's Wedding Day

Hannah and Dom's BIG day finally arrived. They tied the knot on 9th September 09. The whole affair was really beautiful, posh, regal and grand in Clearwell Castle!

Out and About

Uncle Wai popped by for a visit last Saturday. He came over in the morning and stayed for lunch.

It was Joshua's first encounter with him.



On a previous Saturday, Leanne went to pick strawberries at a farm with dada.
Busy at work. She did all the hard work whilst dada took photos.






She looks like she's got a red nose here.







The bright red one is ready to be plucked. She knew just the right ones to go for.
It has been quite warm and sunny, like summer. Hence, the strawberries have been thriving. The harvest is ripe and plentiful.





We also visited the Look Out on one of the evenings. There were two playgrounds, one of younger children and the other for older ones.

They had lovely cakes and even homemade nectarine ice-cream. We bought some fresh brown chicken eggs home too.

Simple pleasures of life

Guaranteed home entertainment.. Glad Robin captured it on video. Their faces exhibited sheer delight, the exhilaration as if they were riding on a rollercoaster.. With a towel, who needs Legoland.

Amongst friends and family

RL has been a good playmate during the holidays.
Grandma had a small paddling pool for me which came in handy on warm sweaty days like these.





Enjoying a porcupine lotus 'pau' at Shogun, whilst grandma, grandpa and mom enjoyed more sumptious Japanese sushis and tempuras.

One of my favourite food in Malaysia is roti canai.

Just love to pluck grandma's flowers, especially when she is not looking.

Trip to Genting Highlands

We made a day trip to Genting Highlands, a theme park (and casino) at the top of a mountain. There were lots to do there, both indoors and outdoors.

As it was a Monday, the queues for rides were shorter. We managed to persuade grandpa to take the monorail ride around the park.

Leanne loved flying in Dumbo. She must have went on it about 5 times. I took Josh up in it as well. It was a good thing that there wasn't a limit on the number of rides we could take.
