A trip to Hamleys

Firstly, I want to wish a very blessed birthday to Grandpa! We are thinking of you, especially today.
This morning, we caught the train to London. As we were walking on Hungerford bridge, mom showed me the large ship on the Thames, and the double decker buses on Waterloo bridge.
On the way there, we stopped by London Chinatown for dim sum lunch. I had my fair share, thoroughly enjoyed the char siu soh and char siu pow. The egg tart was yummy too!



Finally, when we reached Hamley's, we had a warm welcome. They definitely know how to catch my attention.




Hello there, (not-so) little bear! The place was full of furry friends.


This mouse/hamster held my fascination until I saw some bubbles!

Carter's Vintage Steam Fair

The weather felt almost summerlike last weekend. Blue skies and warm sunshine throughout the weekend, unbelievable! To top it off, there was a steam fair in the nearby park.

It was a most exciting fair. They had many rides, some of which were just right for me. I had my eyes set on this blue beauty.

Here is daddy and me, in front of a merry-go-round. It was too big for my liking, so I gave that a miss.
I was truly fascinated to see someone turn the wheels manually to work the musical carousel.
Now everytime we go out, I ask if we are going to the fair. Alas, mommy pointed out that the the fair had moved away.
