MalgrÃĐ notre programme chargÃĐ, nous avons trouvÃĐ le temps d'aller passer un aprÃĻs-midi et soirÃĐe avec des amis dans leurs maison de vacances à Lasalle, dans les CÃĐvennes. On a passÃĐ un bon moment à essayer d'attraper des poissons.
Despite our busy holiday schedule, we found time to go and spend an afternoon and evening with friends in their holiday home in Lasalle, up in the Cevennes. We pottered in their bit of river/stream.
On a eu du plaisir à aller se promener jusqu'à la 'source' de la riviÃĻre, en parti sur cette canalisation en bÃĐton, qui n'avait pas l'air trop vieille mais qui ÃĐtait bien recouvert par des racines par endroit.
The highlight was walking up to 'the source' (not really) of the river, along this interesting concrete channel, which didn't seem that old, but which was already well overgrown in places.
On s'est arrÊtÃĐ prÃĻs d'ici, oÃđ pour finir tout le monde s'est laissÃĐ tentÃĐ par l'eau glaciale, mÊme ceux qui n'avaient pas pris leur maillot !
We stopped near here, where in the end everyone was tempted to try the (freezing!) water, even some who'd left their costumes behind and ended up jumping in in their undies!
