actually scratch that. i am extremely blessed!
i will begin with my awesome day. i woke up and knew it was just gonna be one of those extra special days. i feel like i conquered the world then stopped to take a view from the top..kind like this:paris is my favorite place, and i will visit there someday, but it has nothing to do with this post!
so back to my day:
1. i didn't have school
2. i went to the temple with kenzie and felt the spirit so strong as we did baptisms
3. made delicious oreo rice krispie treats
4. waxed kenzie's face and underarms, then got mine done in return :]
5. got all of my grocery shopping done (which included water bottles! thank goodness, because i just cannot make myself drink tap)
6. did all of my laundry
7. was introduced to the cutest new song
8. smiled to every single person i saw
9. and two seconds ago, the whole day just got a million times better!...
i have been talking to some people saying how badly i want to go to conference because i don't know when i will get the chance again. i even told my mom yesterday how sad i was that i wouldnt be going. BUT i have awesome roommates and Jasmyn thought to ask me if i wanted a ticket to the Saturday morning session. My response? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!! man i was smiling before, but now i am just grinning from ear to ear!
i am so excited to receive additional direct counsel from our general authorities this weekend. how blessed we are to be led by a loving Heavenly Father and Savior, through our living prophet and apostles.

Getting pumped for the thunderstorm of chalk!

Ever heard of the Indian Holi Day? Ya its great. There is a huge Aladdin temple in Spanish Fork and they put on Festival of Colors every year. What a great way to welcome spring!!
We yelled things like "Ala Krishna!" and "Burn the witch!"
I have the greatest friends!
What a festival!

As you can tell, I really was having a blast...What a great weekend! Watched The Proposal, got chalked as a rainbow, ate yummy Italian food, and watched 1/2 of Taken(I love the honor code).
Also, shout out to my niece who turned 8 years old!! Love you Taters!

this week we had a whole class on MAKEUP.
talk about fun!
our teacher, danielle, is incredible. she is up for makeup artist of the year and travels the world doing photoshoots.
so lets just say that we learned a ton!

this weekend was so great!
started it off watching
CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS.
I hadn't seen it yet, and absolutely loved it!
i then needed out of the apartment so planned an adventure.
chol was really nervous. probably for a lot of reasons..
it was 10 pm
pitch black outside
only had a dinky little flashlight
2 teenage girls
trying to find a hidden castle
in a forest
next to a mental hospital/prison...
haha great idea, i know.
this was us about 5 minutes in-luckily for rachel it was private property with cameras so we didnt make it all the way up! we will try again in daytime :]
so we tried to find a happy place and went to yogurtland!MUCH BETTER.
then we came home and watched yet another movie..DEAR JOHN never gets old :]
saturday i worked in the spa at school! did some ladies from gilbert, az which was way nice.
then watched the cougs dominate! SWEET SIXTEEN here we come.
Rachel and I really wanted to see the whole game, so while our roomies went and saved us seats at YOUNG AMBASSADORS, we watched the awesome game! we soon realized we were locked out of the house: keyless, carless, and walletless. so what did we resort to? chol's bike, meant for one person. lets just say we didnt make it very far up the hill! good thing her brother trav helped us out.
YOUNG AMABASSADORS was simply incredible. sometimes i forget how much i live for music. yes they made me cry and i just loved it!i love my roommates with all of my heart! i truly am so blessed.
i was laying in bed at 11:15.. a record right?! then my roommate emily says were goin to the airport! we rung in the COUGAR BASKETBALL TEAM at the provo airport. dedicated fans? i think yes. it was amazing!yes i did just roll out of bed. BUT I DONT CARE!! Davies and Abouo. I also touched the love of my life: KYLE COLLINSWORTH. well and JIMMER FREDETTE!! ah it was so great!

it was worth being up til 1:30 this morning!
today church was amazing. loved rededicating myself and setting new goals.
life is good and its already the end of march!

of sunshine and summertime! Please come quicker!
I'm not much of a rain girl. But I'm trying to embrace it!
Its been raining all afternoon and night.
Then my dearest Kelsi Leigh sent me a text "ask your teacher when you can come back to your sad family :(" with lots of frowny faces. Talk about stormy weather! It just broke my heart. Haha I miss that sweet girl!
So moral of the story, even if there are lots of clouds, I'm gonna be the ray of sunshine that this town needs!
I actually have a roommate who knows how to do just that:Isn't she just great? Ya she made s'more-stuffed-chocolate chip cookies! AMAZING.
Another little ray of sunshine was this old folks 50's dance on Saturday!It was a great time!
And now my dearest Kenzie Crandall gets back from her Florida trip tomorrow. She has been gone 2 weeks which was 2 weeks too long!!
And its St. Patricks Day!!
So its gonna be a stupendous day, I just know it!

don't blink

how is time passing so quickly?! its already several days into March! crazy.
it snowed last weekend..so what do ya do?? make the most of it!chol and i found this smokin deal on these shoes! arent they sweet?we played in the snow lots, went sledding, and built snowmen..ok we didnt really build the giant one. but we like to pretend! a few days later we went to the ReAL Salt Lake soccer game!! the only soccer i've ever watched have been rachel's in high school and her intramural ones up here. so this was just a little step up into the pros! so legit.then our dearest bestest friend came down from byu-i. the best treat ever! we went to a reception and had fun as you can tell...i know this post sounds so so happy, and it is! but don't think my life is perfect or anything like that. i mean i did get towed friday night and have to pay $180 to get my car back! then my car did start acting up yesterday and takes 2 people to turn the steering wheel so we dont hit any curbs. but life is still great! i just will have to fork out a crap load of money tomorrow when they tell me all the things that are wrong with the car. but thats alright! now back to the rest of my great weekend...
my awesome roomie, rachel schlappi, wasn't using her all sports pass so she let me use it!! i got to go to the last byu basketball home game. ahh it was so great! mostly because i sat next to bre and martin the whole game, and we got to be in the video below. but it was an awesome game! THE VIDEO. watch it!

the weekend ended with all us girls from high school getting together like old times. we went to sammy's yummmy milkshake shop. delish! it was so fun having becca in town and we hope she comes again soon!now for the next week of school..learning fitness facials and bikini waxing :]
