Jewelry

Adahleigh has finally decided that its okay to wear jewelry. It all started when she got into mom's jewelry and was putting on necklaces and bracelets. Since she was willing to put those on herself we thought that she might let us put her jewelry on that Erin made for her (our last attempt at this ended with her crying cuz she couldn't get it off, we put it on her while she was sleeping). She was as please as could be to have it on and ended up wearing it for about a day.

This is the best picture she'd let us take of her showing off her bracelet, since she just loves to hold still and get her picture taken.

Humpty Dumpty

This last week Adahleigh decided to play humpty dumpty and take a great fall. She was playing with her friends in front of their house and fell off the barrier onto the asphalt. Its a pretty good fall, especially since she tried to use her head to break the fall.






As you can see she got some pretty good road-burn in her attempt to crack her egg. Luckily no harm came of it in fact she was back up to playing and running around after a couple of minutes of crying. You would've never known anything happened if she didn't have the marks to prove it. Unfortunately. this little experience hasn't diminished her risky behavior in the slightest.

Two Months and counting!

Charles is now two months old.  He loves to smile! Every once in a while we get a noise out of him but he usually just smiles.  We use to think he was a cuddler but lately he prefers to be left alone. Whenever he starts to fuss now you usually can just lay him on his blanket on the floor and hes as happy as can be. You try to pick him up and he starts fussing again. But he is still fun he usually just lays there and smiles. 

Just relaxing while dad trims the toe nails.

oh One last thing............the last two nights he as slept ALL NIGHT LONG!!!! I dont know if hes just extra tired and wants to sleep or if he is going to start making a habit of it.....i guess will wait and see?!?
