Quiet Book

Ashley has finally been able to finish the quiet book for Adahleigh. It only took her a few months to do, because of constant distractions from Adahleigh wanting attention and maintaining the house, and several trips to the store to get things for it. Here are the pages she made. The lettering is actually done by hand.

Getting Mobile

Adahleigh has begun to master crawling and sitting up on her own. The video shows her abilities about 2 weeks ago, since then she can get to where she wants quickly and has begun to pull herself up on the furniture into the standing position and walk along it. She is also able to pull herself up in the crib with the mattress dropped all the way down and the rail all the way up, this morning we even found her that way halfway undress.

Cherry Hills!

This weekend we went to my family reunion at cherry hills! Adahleigh really enjoyed it! We slept in a tent and she acutally slept the whole night!! We went swimming, ate great food, and had awesome company!

Adahleigh swimming in her little floater, the water was only a foot to a foot and a half deep so she could peddle her way around.

She played with bently (stinky) for over an hour! She would crawl around and watch him run around and play! She would only let him get so close with out freaking out! Sometimes she would roll over and sit up and end up right next to the dog so she hurry and tried to crawl away!! It was very entertaining!

Happy Fathers Day!!!!!!


I know its a little late but i just wanted to wish all you dads out there a Happy Fathers Day! Exspecially my husband adam! He is such a great husband and is a great dad to our babys! Exspecially adahleigh she loves him so much and i just want to let him no how much I love Him and how grateful i am for him!! I love you honey!

*The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions*

Friday night adam came home with free tickets to go see the Lipizzaner Stallions (for those who don't know they were the stallions that were trained and used in wars!). It was pretty cool to see them and Adahleigh loved watching them. She would even clap at times when she seen everyone else doing it! It was fun to be able to get out and do something. Here are some pictures from our friday night out!

*8 Months*

Today adahleigh is 8 months old! I can't believe it, time has just flew by. She is growing so much!
Here are some of her new skills and things she loves.
*She is learning to crawl. She can get up onto all fours and rock..... every once in awhile she moves a little bit or belly flops.
*She can now stand on all fours with her but up in the air.
*She can almost go from her belly to her bum....its will come in time!
*She loves to eat anything she can get her hands on....... her new favorite thing is otter pops!
*Adams positive she says dada......its still in questioning though.
*She is learning to say bye bye and can do the action (like most kids they wave and themselves.)
*She loves being able to play with mom all day!
*But also loves it when daddy comes home. She can hear when the key goes into the whole and she gets the biggest grin on her face and just gets so excited waiting for him to open the door. (She has actually started pouting a couple times when he leaves for work in the morning.)
* She can now balance on one foot while daddy holds her in mid air! (picture coming soon)
*She loves to walk around when you hold her hands.
*She loves playing with other little kids. Exspecially in the middle of sacrament!
*She is learning to squirm to get off your lap, she is becoming very independent wanting to do everything herself!
*She can feed herself anything she gets in her hands!
*She loves to ride in her stroller and go for walks!

She is such a joy and we love her so much!!
