VIREO [C3S]
VIREO (Virtual Intelligence Realization for Earth Observatory) is a 3U CubeSat and aims to demonstrate the applicability of artificial intelligence (AI) in space. It was developed and built by C3S Electronics Development LLC.
The mission will demonstrate the usa of AI to deal with thehuge amount of data is generated during each such mission, and artificial intelligence can be an effective tool for pre-selecting the data already in space with the help of algorithms.
VIREO was launched in April 2023 and was deployed in space from the Vigoride 6 space tug.
