GRUS 3α [AXELSPACE]
GRUS 3α is a demonstration satellite for the GRUS-3 constellation of Earth observation micro-satellites developed by Axelspace.
GRUS 3α, which is set to launch in the summer of 2025, is a small satellite designed for performance verification. It will be used to verify optical systems, including telescopes and general-purpose bus systems.
The GRUS system update will not be installed directly on GRUS-3. Instead, it will first undergo verification testing on GRUS 3α, making it a verification model akin to apps and systems used in real-world scenarios.
