I have no idea what I'm doing

I whinge a bit. I rant a bit. I might write something kinda nice once in a while too.

I'm not a fan of LJ voyeurs, so lurkers eventually get unfriended. It's just kind of creepy to never comment!

I hate drama, and I don't mean the theater kind. The older I get, the less crap I am likely to take from anyone. I dislike social chitchat, but love cool evenings outside where there is starlight, firelight, and excellent conversation.

I live in Scotland now, which was unexpected. I'm incredibly glad I do, not because I had a life-long ambition to live here, but because this is where my Love lives, and now we get to live together as husband and wife. Being someone's wife was another thing that was unexpected :-). Life sure is funny.

Here is the FAQ I've been asked to provide, for all the acronyms I used to (and sometimes still) use - this is pretty much no longer in use, since it mostly applied to the bad old days (and the bad old employers/coworkers/bosses) at my former job in the US.

Due to some hideous drama I no longer friend everyone who friends me and my posts are locked. I have learned the hard way to be cautious. Please don't take it personally. It's not you, it's someone else who made me have to take care about who I accept into my journal. I do miss putting up public posts, which were always fun to have here, but I no longer wish to let anyone see my LJ life unless they are invited by me to be here.
