Opened in 1861 next to St. Mary’s Churchyard (1855), Smallcombe Vale Cemetery in Bathwick, England, was designed as a "garden for the dead" with a picturesque layout. Closed in 1988, both sites are maintained today by local community efforts. findagrave.com/cemetery/24122…
