Tilda is a fabric brand founded by Norwegian designer Tone Finnanger in 1999, best known for whimsical naive characters and charming fabric design. There is a certain attitude to life in Tilda’s world, whimsical and romantic, like a ball gown worn with wellies – perfectly imperfect!

The Tilda range includes fabrics, fabric bundles, buttons, accessories, and books. We release three new fabric collections each year, each with its own unique story, colour palette, and charm. Complementing these collections is our growing basics range, featuring solids, chambrays, widebacks, and carefully curated prints designed to mix effortlessly with both current and past collections.

To inspire creativity, we also offer a large selection of quilt and sewing patterns, all available as free downloads from our website. Together, our fabrics and patterns create a versatile and enduring fabric universe enjoyed by quilters and makers around the world.

Tilda products are produced and distributed by Tilda Fabrics and are available in most of Europe as well as USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. Book titles are published by David and Charles Ltd. Tilda books have been translated into more than 18 languages.
