The Old Brewery Mission is proud to announce the installation, at our rest stop, CafÃĐ Mission, of an exceptional piece of heritage: the wooden sign that once adorned the façade of our establishment at 529 Inspector Street between 1948 and 1968. After several months of meticulous restoration, this piece of our history is now on display for the public to enjoy.
We announced today the departure of James Hughes, who has served as its president and CEO since 2020. Mr. Hughes will run as a candidate for the Quebec Liberal Party (PLQ) in the upcoming provincial election.
Our actions and programs are tailored to the individual needs and challenges of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We believe it is possible to intervene effectively at any point in their lives to break the cycle of homelessness.
The Old Brewery Mission is leading its major fundraising campaign to continue supporting vulnerable people at every stage of the intervention cycle.
