History and Archives
EPFL History
Founded in 1853, the Ãcole SpÃĐciale de Lausanne was renamed Ãcole Polytechnique FÃĐdÃĐrale de Lausanne in 1969.
EPFL Archives
The EPFL Archives are dedicated to preserving the history of EPFL. They collect, preserve, and promote documents related to EPFL’s activities.
