My name is Deniz Üner
After graduating from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (Istanbul) with a bachelor's degree in interior architecture,
I completed my master's degree in furniture design at Aalto University / Helsinki with my thesis "Design for Modularity".
I exhibited my works at various fairs in Istanbul, Tokyo, Helsinki and Stockholm.
I believe all branches of design are inseparable and in all its aspects, design should aim to produce high-quality and long-lasting solutions, making our daily life more pleasant and comfortable. In my work while aiming for functionality and environmental sensitivity, I embrace human-centered design approaches.
I have worked for companies as product design lead for many years, now I continue my design practices under my own brand, Super Basic Me - Sbm Brand.

A LITTLE BIT
ABOUT
SBM BRAND
SBM BRAND is the name under which I investigate and conduct furniture and product designs for everyday life.
“SBM” Stands for “Super Basic Me”, is a concept I created to articulate the essence of my design philosophy; it explores and interrogates the simple yet impactful contributions of everyday life to our intellectual and emotional worlds, while inspiring me with the richness of daily existence.
