Media Library vs Directory Path

Hello – Is it possible to point the plugin to resize images that are uploaded to specific folders (instead of the media library)? Specifically, when using the WordPress Job Manager plugin, users will create resumes and upload images to a specific folders (/job-manager-uploads) which then has subfolders for years (e.g. 2025, 2026) and type of photo (e.g. candidate photo). Is it possible to point this plugin to look at any image uploaded to any subfolders within the top-level folder (/job-manager-uploads)? Thank you so much!

    Hi @camplife

If it is an existing library of images, there isn’t a way for Imsanity to process those images. You could use our EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, which has a Max Media Dimension option, and set an alternative folder in the Folders to Include setting.
For images that are being uploaded, I am guessing that the Job Manager plugin might be bypassing the standard WordPress upload hooks, which would be why Imsanity won’t work on those. We might be able to do some custom development to hook into the Job Manager process if they have a hook to process new uploads, but we still wouldn’t necessarily be able to do anything about the existing uploads.
