can you tell me more about the bad request? What is the rest of the message? Any debug log errors? Right now it’s hard to know if this is related to NMR.
And are you in the site editor? I don’t have support for NMR there yet, but it’s coming soon.
Hi Helga
This is the message on a white screen:
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Yes I am the administrator.
I deactivated your plugin and I was able to save changes in the main menu.
Please find the issue.
I did a rollback to version 2.1.0 and it works well.
Hi Michael, What version were you rolling back from? If 2.1.3.. there really wasn’t anything in between 2.1.0 and 2.1.3 that changes how menu items are saved. That suggests to me more that maybe some stale caches (page or object) were cleared on plugin activation.
And just to confirm, you are editing a menu in the admin wp-admin/nav-menus.php ? Is your menu particularly large? I remember that used to be a problem a long time ago (as sites could only handle saving so many inputs at once) but I haven’t really heard any issues with it lately.
Would you try updating back to 2.1.3 and re-saving? If it saves now, the rollback was a coincidence.
If it fails, could you look at:
1. From your browser’s dev tools… check the network size of the failing POT to nav-menus.php
2. check with your host for the server’s error log at the time of failure.
