So I worked out Thursday, Friday and Sunday as I promised. I took a rather light day today as I felt some pain in the gimpy leg, only 30 minutes on the cross-trainer. I'll definitely do the weights tomorrow and then depending on how my leg feels, either 30 or 45 on the x-trainer. Then the EMG is Tuesday, so that will be one of my off days. Hopefully that will give me some answers to the puzzle that is the nagging pain in my leg.

I plan to work out Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I'll decide what and how after the EMG and depending on how my leg feels. This is me listening to my body.

Anne Marie: I still can't run. I stopped in April and was diagnosed with the stress fracture two weeks before I was supposed to run my half-marathon. I was told it would be about four months. In late August I wasn't really much better. The doctor now believes it's extertional compartment syndrome. I will be tested for that in two weeks. Just getting proper treatment has been a nightmare... my orthopedist just referred me to the sports specialist last week. Hello, it wasn't a sports-related issue when I came to you with a running injury in April? Fuckers. Anyway I will miss this year's Turkey Trot, which sucks my ass cause I love that race, but I'm hoping to get back into training next summer.

I'm glad you're running again. When was the last time you did? How's that knee problem? Are you training for anything in particular?
