The basics: I'm a Scorpio, which might say a lot right off the bat. ;-) I'm an artsy, dreamy, geeky sort who loves animals (particularly birds) and nature in general, and tries to do her part to help the planet. I'm open-minded and believe in treating people kindly, unless they give me good reason not to. I'm pretty liberal as far as politics and religion goes, but I don't care to talk about either. I can't stand most of the reality TV crap out there right now, but I do watch a fair amount of fictional tv series (see interests) and educational stuff. I enjoy going to the movies and live theater, and I love almost all genres of music. I love to sing and can play the piano. I also love to read and write and draw, but can never seem to find the time or energy to do as much of those things as I'd like. I'd also like to travel a lot more than I do, but I miss my birdies too much get homesick easily.
Fandoms I'm into: I was obsessed with the Harry Potter series until the final book came out... unfortunately I found it disappointing, and my obsession died down. But I still appreciate HP and I still enjoy hanging around the HP fandom, as I made many wonderful friends there. And I still love Severus Snape no matter what! I used to read tons of HP fan fiction and draw fan art -- these days I still read fic (from other fandoms, mostly Marvel/Avengers/Loki), but hardly ever draw anymore, sadly.
