Fandom: Lawless Title: Had a Fancy Gen Rating: PG-13 (swears) Word Count: ~2,400 Summary: Forrest is splitting firewood when he gets the idea. Here, on AO3.
Fandom: Inception Author: delires Pairing: Arthur/Eams Rating: NC-17 Fic (actually series): We Can Do This Until We Pass Out Author Summary: Disturbing London, baby, we about to branch out. (The one where Eames is a chav.)
My thoughts: Non-AU in which Arthur and Eames meet a couple years before the inception job, and... Eames. Is. A. Chav. BUT DON'T FREAK OUT. I guarantee that, even if you want to wipe the earth of all chavs in an ungodly blast of nuclear rage, you will wet your pants for chav!Eames. So fucking hot, homg. And the absolute BEST way to enjoy this hotness is by listening to the PODFIC! I mean, the writing is absolutely incredible, and the reader (seussian) does the most fucking smashing job (especially for a non-Brit) of translating Eames' hideously delicious accent into just... guh, such aural sex. (Get what I did there?) LISTEN TO IT. RIGHT NOW. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY. I talked like a chav for weeks after listening to this fic, and I wasn't even all that ashamed (all right, I was a bit).
Fandom: Avengers Title: Ambiguous Credulity Pairing: Thor/Loki Rating: R Word Count: ~2,800 Summary: “You would have me now, when everything else is lost to you, and your more subtle wiles are far afield,” Thor tells Loki, his thumb in the soft meat under Loki’s chin, behind the muzzle. “You would whore yourself for your freedom, am I right?”
Hello, everyone! I'm sure none of you remember me! XD
I have been a very bad and lazy person for almost a YEAR (!) now, and haven't posted a gosh-darn thing. Now, I find myself at a loss for people with whom to slaver and whimper about fandom, and I am back. Also, I'm writing again (thank you, NaNoWriMo), and I thought I'd better start ingratiating myself before I post anything. :D
No, but really. HOW HAVE YOU ALL BEEN????
I'm super super super into Tom Hardy right now (seriously, I'm so in love it's pathetic), and I was rewatching The Dark Knight Rises the other day, and hellooooo, suddenly I adore Bane. What a surprise. Also, yes, very very late to the party, but I just discovered Arthur/Eames. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE, INCEPTION FANDOM?!?!?!
Tell me some exciting things, people! Point me in the direction of your favourite friending memes, because I need to make friiiiiiieeeeeends!!!!!!!
Went to see Wrath of the Titans tonight. It was... yanno. Better than the first one, at any rate. Best character by far: Agenor. Could watch a whole movie about him.
BUT. The best part was the trailers! I very nearly peed my pants when I saw the one for Prometheus. Homg. SO. EXCITED. And Avengers, YAY. For one thing, Iron Man! My favourite superhero! For another, Joss Whedon, my dearest darlingest love. <3
AND. The Hobbit. sd;kjbgdspoghidsughie;per. Of course, I'd watched the trailer online a bazillion times, but there is something so beautiful about seeing it on the big screen. MARTIN FREEMAN, I LOVE YOU SO SO SO SO MUCH. PLEASE MARRY ME. HAVE MY TEENY LITTLE BEAUTIFUL RUMPLED HOBBIT BABIES.
And... is it just me... or where there some seriously hot dwarves in that lineup? I've trolled the intrawebs, and discovered that they are Fili and Kili. (Much different to the cartoon Hobbit versions of my youth, lol.)
Title: An Experiment in Posthumous Subsistence Rating: NC-17 Pairing: Batman/Joker Word Count: 11,774 Summary: “Before you break my face,” the Joker said, squirming beneath Batman’s body, between his sore knees, “can I just say that none of this is my fault?” Notes: I definitely wrote this with TDK characterizations in mind, but visualize what you will. PODFICCED (homgwah!) by the absolutely wonderful, beautiful, and lovely cyranothe2nd.
So I'm sitting here, reading Merlin/Arthur fic (stuff by seperis ; highly recommended), watching old Superman cartoons out of the corner of my eye, when I notice that Lex Luthor has constructed a time machine that will let him speak to the greatest wizard of the ancient world. Merlin, of course. And what does Merlin do? Give Lex a recipe for magic marbles that will turn him into an eight-year-old so he can do crime without being suspected.
I probably wouldn't have read this if I'd known it was a zombie apocalypse but I was hooked by the time that was revealed- and I'm very glad of it! In-character and delightfully funny, with a hint…
