| The Mentors interview & performance in ASSSSCAT at UCBTLA |

The Mentors will provide a fitting close to The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre's week long OFFENSIVE FEST in Los Angeles.
Sunday, July 2nd @ 7:30 the band will appear in the improv show ASSSSCAT and play a half hour set afterwards. The show is only $8.
OFFENSIVE FEST is a week long celebration/examination of offensive humor. In the spirit of Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, Redd Foxx, Bill Hicks and Moms Mabley, taboos will be shattered, stomachs will be turned, beliefs will be challenged and laughter will ring out. Come join the fun when the UCB Theatre, home for all things comedy in LA, takes on all things offensive.
What exactly is ASSSSCAT? Well, it starts with a group of improv comedians currently working in film and television taking the stage accompanied by a special guest monologist. Some guest monologists are talented celebrities, others are screwed up weirdoes. Either way, they usually have great stories to tell. We take a suggestion from the audience, then the show begins. The special guest shares off-the-cuff thoughts, feelings, and personal remembrances inspired by the suggestion. The improvisers in turn use this impromptu monologue as fodder for a series of high octane, balls-to-the-wall improvised sketches that have made this show one of the longest running improv shows in the history of the world.
Cast: Matt Besser (UCB), Ian Roberts (UCB), Matt Walsh (UCB), Sean Conroy (Crossballs), Andrew Daly (MADtv) and Andrew Secunda (Late Night with Conan O'Brien), plus special guest improvisers.

Everybody knows that I beat women This is a fact that I can not deny Lots of people don't like of what I do to them But they are just so pretty when they cry Some dumb cunt in the corner is getting to me Bitching at me like I fucking care She's getting on my nerves, I'm losing my patience If she does not shut up she'll be falling down the stairs Cause I like to punch them in the stomach And dragging them around by their hair It's a real treat when they can't even remember how that big black eye got there cause I like to drink whiskey in glass bottles And breaking it on her while she is unaware I guess that dumb cunt never learned to stop complaining So excuse me now while I toss her down the stairs So I can sing all these songs about beatings Rock Em Sock Em is a good one that I know I just love it, it's a real great time So I suggest beating up some girl that you know And everybody knows...

NEWS FLASH!
ROCK IS DANGEROUS !!! From Allen Wrench... "No fan can kill me."

Wrench mocks assassins
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey all you fucking pussies out there… for years corporations and MTV have watered down rock music and made it ‘safe for consumers’. And a lot of fans out there like to come to the shows and talk shit. That’s fun and all, but don’t think for on second that Kill Allen Wrench is a professional wrestling act. Try and pic a fight with me and you’ll be inspecting a fucking mic stand, or if you’re lucky you might only get your jaw broken by my hands of steel.
But due to Satanic worship and heavy methamphetamine use, unlike Dimebag Darrell I cannot be killed by any human.
Anybody remember the Guy up in Canada that was supposed to shoot me on stage?
Fuck off pussies.

Dimebag Darrell R.I.P. 1966-2004
The Peds website shutdown from the volume of people going to
view the photo of me and Dime getting drunk with Ace Frehley Kiss paint on our
faces. I will try to get it back online here http://www.myspace.com/thepeds.
The news of Dime's death is a huge shock for me. I had the opportunity to meet
Dime at Rocky's nightclub in Charlotte NC many years ago. My friend Tripp McNeil
of the band Seducer invited me to this knowing Dime would be dropping by after
his Pantera gig. He was a huge influence on me as a young guitar player. I got
see to see Pantera with Type O Negative on my birthday at LJVM Coliseum in
Winston Salem NC. After the show I got to hang out with Dime a second time at
Ziggy's nightclub. Dimebag Darrell was a great guitarist and one of the nicest
people I have met. The Heavy Metal community has lost a great musician.

In sex ed the teacher was telling about how many girls get sex offended , and how horrible it is. At the time I was sporting my Mentors shirt with a girl being pinned down by a foot.
