A Long time Ago, in a Galaxy Far Far Away...

The Republic has been established and the Jedi Order is entering a Golden Age. This is the time of Great Knights and Padawans, of great heroes and exploits against the dark forces of the Galaxy. A Time when many of the heroes of the Prequel Star Wars films were just learning the ropes of the Jedi Order.

This is essentially a Non-canon Jedi Apprentice Roleplaying Game (Non-Canon as in, very few canon characters)

Do you have what it takes to stand with them?

This is an essentially Jedi Apprentice (If you are familiar with the books) Roleplay with One Condition! We rely mostly upon OC Characters.
In fact. the Only Canon Characters we will accept are listed below:

Obi-Wan Kenobi (Padawan)
Qui-Gon Jinn (Master Jedi)
Xanatos (Former Padawan to Qui-Gon Jinn)
Siri Tachi (Padawan)
Ada Gallia (Master Jedi)
Mace Windu (Master Jedi)(HELD)
Yoda (Master Jedi)
Quinlan Vos (Master Jedi)
Aayla secura (Padawan)
Depa Billaba (Padawan)

But this is okay! This will encourage you to develop original OCS ranging from Younglings to Masters (You're going to have to pass a test to attain Master Rank. But we'll get to that)



First off:
THE RULES
(Aka Ten comandments)
1.Thou shalt not God Mod thy Character. Thy character shall not have AnakinSkywalkeresque power unless he IS anakin Skywalker.
2.Thou shalt not take more then two characters, no less then two are available, but thou shalt not take no more then two.
3.Questions thou shalt direct toward thy mods upon the OOC board.
4.Thou shalt not spam or post OOC comments on the general roleplaying community.
5. If you wish to acscend in the Jedi Order you Must pass the tests to get there. Nobody gets free rides.
6. Thou Shalt obey this community RATING. THIS COMM IS RATED NC-17 Thou shalt behave maturely in relation to this revelation.
7.Thou shalt obey thy Mods.
8.Thou shalt read the character creation rules.

ON CANON CHARACTERS
If you are playing a canon character (Lets use Obi-wan as our example) You must take into account a few things.
1. This is a pre-prequel RPG. These are the untold Adventures of the JO during the golden age. So the characters like obi-wan would be about 13-14 age-wise.
2.PADAWANS AND MASTERS AUTOMATICALLY LINK. if You're obi-wan kenobi you and Qui-Gon Jinn are going to be buddies. So Sorry. If you want to split however (looks in Siri and Ada's direction) That would be COOL.

If your OC is Starting out as a Master
To start out, we're not going to have anybody begin as a Padawan. One of the things that really attracted me to this idea was the development of really strong connections. You can change your intitate youngling age to Padawan age and hope that a Master accepts you-but nobody begins as a Padawan.

To Become a Master You must PASS A SUPER SECRET TEST once you've passed said test you'll become a Master. ONLY MASTERS MAY TAKE ON PADAWANS Don't worry about the test. its not that complicated and I'm more then willing to pass it out.

On the Master Padawan Relationship
I'm not gonna make this thing anymore complicated then it already is. If you want to take a Padawan approach the initate of your choice and report it to the Jedi council. It will be Entered into the Archives offically. You can only take one padawan at a time.

At the time your Padawan's training has been completed you may present then to the council to take the Knighthood test (via email) should they pass then welcome to the Jedi Order. Should they fail...well...we'll pretend that you passed. ;)


On Other Characters
In this RPG we're going to be relying on Masters/Padawans/teams of Jedi/single Jedi to create enemies. You must have a LOVE OF WRITING to participate. If you have the burning need to take on a character who's NOT force sensitive please contat one of the mods.

The only definite enemy is Xanatos. Xanatos can bring as many pawns of his own schemes into play as he wishes-however it is to be CLEARLY understood that Xanatos must always be AGAINST the Jedi Order. Which brings us to:

TURNING TO THE DARKSIDE

Are you not satisfied with the light? are you craving something else, something...DARKER? Too damn bad. you can't start off aligned evil as they say in D&D. We wanna see progression.
If you want to take a darker turn then mark such information down in the application. As your character progresses along your plotline we will change your allegiance to the darkside.

The Jedi Council
The Jedi Council (Some Mods some not) Will be responsible for delegating Missions. If you're stuck in the rut for an RP idea go and see the Jedi Council and Hopefully we'll help you set things up.
