Goths Laughing at Goth

i actually enjoyed the original graphic novel of the crow when i first read it many years ago.
when i found out how they were butchering it into a bastardized movie version, i could not bring myself to ever see it. the soundtrack was awful. the premise was retarded. the original comic was a tale of brain damage, near-death, mental illness, and revenge. there was no supernatural element. there was no dead guy coming back to life. i hate how hollywood ruins everything. not only did it fuck up what could have been a decent film, it contributed to the dumbing down of the gothic aesthetic by making hordes of clueless larval imbeciles think that the film was so "goth" and cool. now 99% of the goth clubs are goth-industrial-ebm-futurepuke and full of fashion victims who don't know how to dress, apply make-up, or do their hair, and we are "lucky" to hear the same bauhaus, sex gang, prunes, or specimen tune every week amidst all the buttrock and trance.
