Called benefit people. In a shock to absolutely no-one, they had my old addy. Case has been sent on, and 'should' have the suspension lifted in a few days.

Good, but I'm not gonna be convinced till I see cash.

So, I had a lovely suprise tonight: my benefit's have been stopped for the last month. I only spot this on opening bank statement.

Now, I reckon what's happened is that they've sent me an appointment letter for an assesment. To my old address. So I don't show, and they write me off. Can't think of any other reason for it stopping without some sort of notification.

Too late to do anything about it tonight, but I'm sure tomorrow is just gonna packed with hilarity and queue waiting on the phone.

E: in theory, it's sorted now. fingers crossed.

I know local elections aren't really any indication of general results, but watching spam-face sweat makes me happy.

Also, pleased to see how many people (who presumably voted for similar reasons as I did) are shunning the Libdems.
