We sue

This is now a rating community. Hopefully you already know what a rating community is. What makes this community any different from any other rating community? Truthfully, not too much. Yet, to go along with the theme of this particular community, you are allowed to sue different things - which will have an effect on the community. Read the rules for more info on that.

Rules

rules for applicants

1. Read the rules and then join.
2. Start a new journal entry with your application.
3. Put your application and any of your photos behind a cut.
4. Make sure it is clear that what you are posting is an application (put that in the title, etc)
5. Failure to abide by these rules at first will result in having 5 instant nos given to you.
6. Failure to abide by these rules and not correcting yourself within 2 days will result in instant rejection.
7. You don't have to promote the community, but if you do - you will receive 2 instant yess.
8. You have a week to post your application. If not, you risk being banned.

rules for members

1. Don't be too evil. The mods have the authority to decide precisely what "too evil" means.
2. If you are leaving - please tell us.
3. You have the ability to sue.

First of all, you may sue any member within the community - any member who is not a mod. All you need to do is post the person's lj name in an entry and announce that you want to sue that person. Do you need a reason? Of course not! Just look at the title of the community! Yet, if you want to, you may give a reason. What happens next is that each member will vote on whether they would like that person to be removed or not. It's much like voting on an applicant. Either 'yes' or 'no'. If that person receives enough nos, they will be banned from the community.

Secondly, you may sue any person, place, or thing existing outside of the community. The process for this is the same as the process for suing other members. If you manage to sue something or someone successfully, that person or thing may not be discussed within the community at any time. Basically, you can make this place your safe little haven from that thing - if others agree with you. We will keep a list available and, if someone attempts to talk about that thing, he or she or it will be punished. The mods will decide on the fit punishment.

4. Failure to abide by these rules may result in banning.

Post at least one photo of yourself. Make it interesting.

And that's the end of the application. Remember to post the questions WITH the application. Preferably, the questions should be bold while the answers are in regular font.


In conclusion

This community is pretty much still in construction, but you are welcome to join. We have enough members to vote - sort of. Hopefully it will be ready soon.
