I play MvM (Two Cities Mann Up) once a week (Saturday). My timezone is GMT+1.
So if you are into that, want to learn or just play, maybe even have some fun, you can join me.
All I'm asking is that you arent a cheater, Gas user or make games incredibly boring overall.

I highly recommend you to check out Potato's Custom MvM Servers.
You can play the missions of their past events on their Archive Servers. [archive.potato.tf]

Or play their MvM campaign if they currently are running one on https://potato.tf/

I also started doing MvM Demo Reviews. If you have any that you would like me to check out and react to, you can add me to talk about the details.

Additionally, if you have questions about scams or have been scammed and want some advice, you can also talk to me about this or peruse my artwork section with years of scammer chat logs, their methods and my battle with Steam Support to get anything done against them.

Sorry about the mess. This guide is rather disorganized and structureless. I thought I was done writing guides, but here this is. Lately, I've had my intelligence insulted a lot by low-tour players in MvM pubs. Why are low-tour players calling more experie

This could have been an easy recommendation if it wasnt for one thing:
Ubisoft Connect.
Judging by other reviews I dont seem to be the only user to have a negative experience with it.

I would even go as far as calling Ubisoft Connect unwanted software as it does not add to the experience and only diminishes the value of whatever game it is attached to and actively prevents me from playing the game that I bought on Steam.

Well, I didnt exactly buy it since I won in in a giveaway many years ago but you get the idea.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756265087

The point is that Valve and Steam are selling a game that does not work under its originally advertised Minimum or Recommended System Requirements.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756273086

And you can laugh as much as you want about me continuing to use Windows 7 but considering the absolute dumpster fire that Windows 11 is, I think I'm laughing way more.

But whats no laughing matter to me is that I am expected to change my operating system to one that the game wasnt even developed for in the first place just because Ubisoft Connect wont allow itself to launch.
There is zero reason why it should refuse to launch. It has no issues installing itself on my outdated OS but running on it? Hell nah!
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756274916

And I have to give credit where credit is due, Steam still runs on my outdated OS.
And Steam also would allow me to play this game if Ubisoft Connect wouldnt prevent me from doing so.

How do I know that? Well, you might have noticed that I actually have playtime on this game.
Because I played it. But not by changing my OS but by cutting out Ubisoft Connects unwanted presence.

Through modified game files I circumvented Ubisoft Connect and Steam happily allowed me to play the game that I obtained on their platform.
Unfortunately this also disabled Steam features like Achievements but at least I could experience the game instead of being told to come back once I am using an OS that Ubisoft Connect approves of.

The next step was to report this game as Broken. By their own report system definition this game fits the bill.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3756268493
Of course these types of reports go nowhere. Just like most reports you file on Steam.
But I did my due diligence.

Next up was asking Steam Support and hearing their incredible take on how it is possible that they are selling a game that was originally developed for an OS that they no longer support, that a third party can simply prevent their paying customers from actually playing, thus rendering it Broken.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3781164339

For someone that has dealt with Steam Support for years, their deflection of responsibility and "understanding of my feelings, sentiments and where I am coming from" is nothing new.
Its the Steam Support playbook of telling you that they couldnt give less of a damn about what you are talking about.

Because if they truly would understand, they would do something, anything, about it.
But they wont.
Just like any other multi-billion dollar company they only care about your money and not that you would like to be able to play what you paid for.
