Second verse, same as the first...

Alice Nation “Story revolves around the relationship between two female characters”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3318210/Doomed_Otaku/?curator_clanid=6864182

Doomed Otaku “Female protagonist, romantic interactions between female characters are possible”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3440260/Alruna_End_of_History/?curator_clanid=6864182

Alruna: End of History “The feelings of one female character for another are a major part of the story.”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1708200/On_Your_Hands/?curator_clanid=6864182

On Your Hands “A relationship between female characters is important to the plot.”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2283350/Reborn_A_Zombie/?curator_clanid=6864182

Reborn A Zombie “Trans female protagonist, story includes her relationship with an asexual female character.”

This is the start of a series, the relationship is not concluded in this piece and may be more emotional than "traditionally" romantic but if this beginning interests you, you may want to follow on to the second entry. (I haven't played them!)

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5279090/Girlvania_Summer_Lust/?curator_clanid=6864182

Girlvania: Summer Lust “Focuses on sex between female characters but no real romance.”

There's also some suggestion of a "you" viewpoint character watching and directing or interacting with the girls. I do not know if there is any suggestion of viewer gender. It's also apparently a fairly old game and a lot of people consider it overpriced for the content.

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3330380/Ad_Nauseam_The_Wrong_Side/?curator_clanid=6864182

Ad Nauseam - The Wrong Side “Focuses on relationships between women”

PAY ATTENTION to the description and content warnings, this is toxic yuri with elements not everyone will be into. Also apparently some content has been censored slightly compared to the itch version but can be patched back in.

Review Roundup Oct 24

October 24 - Hanako | 0 Comments

Had a ridiculous week, running a little behind, may need to split the updates to try and give everything a shot!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2967950/The_Witchs_Bakery/?curator_clanid=6864182

The Witch's Bakery “Female protagonist, female romance option.”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4437140/if_you_stay/?curator_clanid=6864182

if you stay “Focuses on the relationship between two female characters”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3591180/Harvest_Moon_Echoes_of_Teradea/?curator_clanid=6864182

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea “You can choose to play a female character and romance female characters”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5200360/The_Better_Deal_Complete_Story/?curator_clanid=6864182

The Better Deal “Female protagonist, you can choose to pursue female romance options”

If you believe the game page the AI was just used for touch-ups and is not a major element of the art; don't ask me, haven't played it.

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3962420/Futa_Slug_EX/?curator_clanid=6864182

Futa Slug EX “Can choose to play a female protagonist and have sex with female characters. Futa content is togglable.”

---

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5223280/THE_MIDNIGHT_QUEENS_2/?curator_clanid=6864182

THE MIDNIGHT QUEENS 2 “All-female cast; romance is not the main focus but there is subtext involving a protagonist and another character, plus two romantic sidequests.”

Touhou stuff. AI art. Has an LGBT tag on it. Apparently has some sort of relationship-building system but not sure how romantic it gets.

has the relevant tags, and the game has been described as "lesbian rage" by gaming outlets but I also know romance is very much not a focus. I only played the demo a while back and won't be able to play it until my computer is up and running again. I'll have more insight when that happens.

About Virtue and a Sledgehammer: I played the free narrative prologue they posted on Pantaloon few days ago (which is not the demo on Steam, it's a prequel short story) and there's a scene where the protagonist says that many people assume she is a lesbian because how she appears and acts, but this frustrates her because she isn't lesbian.

I think I'm going to buy it regardless because I liked the demo and the developers' previous games, I'll let you know if there's anything.

Can pick a female protag, has a yuri ending. But it is absolutely not a focus at all, just some neat historical footnote about having same-sex rep in ancient games.
