Lets begin with one of the most anticipated features coming in this version; Weather! With a bit of technical work we have added a new cloud system, allowing for dynamic cloud cover that casts shadows on objects below. The sky can now shift between three different states: clear, cloudy, or overcast. In future updates we would like to continue to improve this weather system with even more types of weather conditions.
With this update releasing in October, it's only fitting that we begin our annual Halloween event. But this time instead of adding the same event items you are used to we wanted to make it more interesting. We created and added new items and event features for you to find in game. Pumpkin decorations can be found in gardens, fields, and greenhouses. Tombstones, statues, candles, and skeleton parts can be found in cemeteries. While you are there you will notice a new mysterious altar which you can use to craft pumpkin and skull lanterns, and assemble a skeleton that can be used as a mannequin.
All of this is included with all of the Halloween items you have seen in past updates. But if this is your first Halloween event, that means finding AI wearing seasonal helmets and sporting weapons with seasonal skins. There is also a high chance of looting these weapon skins from containers around the world.
As always our art team is working to improve Mirny with each update. This time they have improved the Pyramid POI by expanding the perimeter of the complex. The city of Kamensk has been worked on as well, with some visual corrections and improvements to the area.

This update won’t just be making vehicles stronger though, you now have a new way to combat them. You can now shoot out the tires of a vehicle with a handful of accurate shots. The amount of shots depends on the damage being dealt by your weapon. This slows down the vehicle considerably if all tires are destroyed, allowing you to shift focus to the now exposed passengers.
The last new vehicle feature we have for you in this update is a cosmetic one; vehicle skins! With this new DLC, you can press U on your vehicle to reskin it at any time. This skin pack comes with 4 different skin variations, if you are interested check it out here:
We have already covered the new animal a few times before in previous posts, but for those who aren’t caught up; version 1.11 will add boars!
These new boars have the most HP of any animal in game, but also drop the most resources. Boars provide good food, a head for decoration, and fat that can be converted into machine oil. First render the fat in a campfire, then combine with other materials at an Advanced Workbench to create Machine Oil.

The blueprints menu has been improved as well, now displaying the crafting recipes of all items. This means you don't have to look at a workbench just to figure out what items you need to be collecting. There will also be repair and dismantling workbenches added to the safe zone, making repair easier on the move.
When it comes to balance changes you all have had a lot of feedback for us recently, and we have been listening. Version 1.11 will come with a lot of balance tweaks based on your feedback, so many that it would be easier for everyone if it was in a list. So let us know what you think about these changes! Nothing here is final yet so we can make changes
Vehicle upkeep at your base has changed as well to prevent griefing by other players. Now the Mechanics Workbench requires line of sight to a vehicle before it will protect them from decay. This prevents other players from leaving vehicles inside of your base radius to drain your resources. Here is an example image on how this will function in game:
