If you are a casual enjoyer get the second game port (royal reverie), it's also 60fps too unlike the first port but if you are someone with a keen eye on to gameplay mechanics and level nuances get the first game. No matter what the majority of the fan base says the first game objectively does everything so much better. From item placements in the levels to more 'rough' unforgiving gameplay. But I will admit the sequel has a banger soundtrack.

Anyways ultimately it's up to you. Look at both of them and decide for yourself if you can only afford one.

Damaci is still very much the damaci we remember, maybe some added content. so if you are looking for something closer to the original experience, id say damaci

if you want a more...modernized version, we love reroll is great too.

the thing that alwayts gets me (and this coulda been in the original) the king of cosmos seems lack luster in the second game? he doesnt seem to be as much of a prick. and the general scenes of it all before and after a level dont seem as enjoybale.

GRANTED, this could have been like this in the original game.
