But perhaps the biggest change has happened outside the game. Megz has stepped well beyond her comfort zone and into cosplay, combining her love of Albion with the creativity she once used professionally as a hairdresser. She has already handmade an Earthdaughter costume and transformed herself into a Dragon, with more planned for the future. For someone who describes herself as naturally shy and awkward, putting herself out there in an entirely new way has become one of the things she is proudest of.
That combination of creativity, community participation, and willingness to make herself part of the joke is what Megz brings back to the Ambassador program. She wants Albion to feel approachable, whether that means welcoming someone into her community, showing that intimidating parts of the game can still be enjoyed without taking everything too seriously, or giving other creators around her space to shine as well. And after spending much of Dragonfire caught up in alliance responsibilities and a lengthy war, Megz finally has something much simpler on the agenda: dragons!
If you are someone who enjoys aiming for ambitious goals without taking yourself too seriously, Megz is definitely worth knowing. Follow her on Twitch to see where the next stream, cosplay, or terrible community idea takes her, and tune in to AlbionTV this Friday for her live interview and a chance to win the Priest vanity bundle!
The dead are stirring, and they've brought some wicked deals with them! This Allhallows, two sinister vanity items are available at 33% off in the Albion Online Web Shop
Allhallows has returned to Albion, and so has Bob. He's still convinced that every adventurer who crosses his path deserves a good beating. Which, to be fair, is probably how most adventurers feel about him, too. Fortunately, there are plenty of spooky rewards to make the encounter worthwhile!
This year, Bob has apparently lost his patience with adventurers taking the scenic route through his dungeon. Some of the longer routes have been shortened, and a few particularly cluttered encounters have been tidied up, making navigation easier and enemy attacks a little more predictable. Unfortunately, Bob's temper remains entirely unchanged.
And don't forget, the pumpkin infestation has spread to Twitch! Three boosted Noble Weeks are still to come, starting October 26, November 9, and November 23, with increased chances for the Snack-O'-Lantern, Burp-O'-Lantern, and Grump-O'-Lantern off-hand skins. The new Flamescale mount skin joins the boosted rewards in November, too. Check out our announcement
