any class will do. i suggest read each class then decide what class u will enjoy the most.
you can pick up any weapon ingame does not matter what class, tho some class can take advantage of certain weapons and its perks.

Look through the perks. That will give you an idea of what the classes do. I personally love medic. Honestly half of that is you can start with a decent weapon.

I like the Exterminator class good for soloing with bots. Medic is nice for beginners because you start with the med kit. You do get class perks for guns however you can use which ever gun you like. the lvl 2 shotgun is my bread and butter. Character doesn't matter no perks from the character just play who you like the most. I like bunko because she says "move your ass." Eloise calls the lurker zombie perverts i find that funny too.

i say medic or gunslinger works best for new players. and later play exterminator/hellraiser and if you want to really test your skills go vanguard and master it. and also @FALLACY is on point too, i think its best to play what you want. you can try any class and see what you like! enjoy horde slaying!
