[BUG] [WORKAROUND] Game crashes after a few seconds on proton with AMD.
Not sure if the same thing would happen on Windows, but when using Proton on Linux with an AMD GPU, the game crashes after a few seconds.

The game is continually trying to load a nvidia specific file, fails, then after 523 attempts, it crashes.

The same thing happened with Conan Exiles recently and the workaround is to launch it with this in the launch options
PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%

Thanks a lot for the report and the workaround! The cause was the NVIDIA upscaling plugins (DLSS/Streamline) looking for NVIDIA libraries under Proton on AMD cards. The demo update 0.2.16 (live now) switches them off automatically when the game runs through Proton, so PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1 is no longer needed (FSR still works). If anything else breaks on Linux or Steam Deck, please let us know here!
