Hi everyone! There's no reason why you should already know this, but for the past month I've been hard at work on Abort Sequence.

I've always loved the concept behind puzzle games - overcoming an obstacle through logic and understanding the art behind it's creation is something that always fascinated me.

For the longest time I thought there was some sort of science behind the creation of a puzzle. Something which required a great study or some exceptional rules and mechanics, but in the end they are nothing more than simple problems - and we, as humans, find great satisfaction in solving problems.

That's why I decided to make this simple game as a little side project to finally get into puzzle creation, rather than just as a player.

Obviously I'm still learning a lot of things and I want to keep improving by studying puzzle design way more seriously (through trial and error, and, hopefully, through a lot of feedback), and that's why I'm making this announcement to say that ASPGAN will be releasing a bit earlier than planned (like, right now) and to bring your attention to Abort Sequence, which will be way more of a "game" compared to ASPGAN :D

It's a different kind of game, it has a different feel, a different loop and different puzzles, but regardless of that it's still part of my journey towards something more representative of the way I feel about puzzle games as a whole.

Overcoming an obstacle through logic and understanding the art behind it's creation is something that always fascinated me, and I found the same fascination by watching people trying to solve the puzzles I made.

That's why I'm confident that this is only the beginning
